Get A Bigger Hotel Room With This Simple Request49s

Get A Bigger Hotel Room With This Simple Request

There is nothing quite as good as getting the whole hotel treatment. You get to escape your ordinary day to day activities, isolate yourself or see other people, feel like you’ve gone to another continent by sleeping in a different bed for one night. Hotels are amazing. They are that breath of fresh air you never knew you needed. Hotel services may vary on the price you’re paying for your room, but there are some amenities that are common for each type. You get a clean bed, clean shower and towels and the option to not be disturbed. Other than that you may get a full mini fridge stocked with snacks and drinks, television, free Wi-Fi, food service and even an access to the pool. Of course, you may ask for some things that are extra, but 99% of the time, you’ll have to pay a bit extra too to get them. If you ask room service to bring you some Chardonnay, you can bet that it’s gonna cost you some and it will probably be pricier than that in a restaurant. Basically, you will pay for any additional service you require, and it’s up to you to decide whether you’re okay with that, you really need it or not. However, there is one thing that you may ask and get for free, and that is a bigger hotel room. Just don’t go to the reception and flat out ask for a bigger room, try to work around the problem and ask for a corner room. Those rooms are usually designed bigger than the rest and may be exactly what you were looking for. So lay back, relax and enjoy your stay!

Learn About The Perks Of Flying First Class1m12s

Learn About The Perks Of Flying First Class

Have you ever squeezed yourself into your coach seat, only to sit and wonder how life would be at the front of the plane? Sometimes when you fly, do you ever poke your head into the aisle, look up it to see if you can see what is going on in first class? Do they have cramped seats as well? Or a loud crying baby? Well, now you can see what is actually going on up there. We are sure people always wonder as do we, about the mysteries of the first class. A user on Reddit.com, a community discussion, and social website, posted a question about the best perks of flying first class. This was posted in AskReddit, a subcommunity within Reddit, used solely for asking questions and having people respond with the answers. This video was made as a summary to some of the best answers. Some of the perks of being in first class are based purely on design. Since the first class is at the front of the plane they have the luxury of a better boarding experience. They get to come in first, they don’t have to squeeze through a bunch of aisles to get to their seat at the very back, and they get to exit the plane first when it lands. Also, it is quieter and there is less turbulence in the front based on where the engines are positioned and the design of the actual airplane . That alone is already making for a better flight! If you are a passenger who just can never seem to get comfortable, then you may not want to hear what is going on in first class. The top answer given for the question was about full reclining seats. Now in economy class seating, you obviously can not fully recline your seat back because of the lack of space around you and you most likely have a passenger behind you. In the first class, you are pretty secluded and have some privacy to yourself to lay back. This must be amazing on these long overnight flights when you just want to get some rest and lie back in a much more comfortable seat. Another big perk from the lists seems to be the dining commodities. You can drink some champagne to help you relax if you get a little stressed while flying or just need a drink. Also, for longer flights you can have a full meal served with real napkins and silverware. No more bags of peanuts or a granola bar, maybe you want a hamburger today! Sometimes, there is even a chef onboard cooking up gourmet meals for some of the passengers! This definitely doesn’t sound like too bad of a flight. There is definitely a lot of perks to flying first class. Overall, we think the biggest is comfortability. We think the biggest issue of flying in economy is being cramped up, having no privacy, and the noise levels. All which some people have to sit through for long hours at a time. Just the ability to have some quiet time, spread your legs out, and recline that chair back sounds so amazing. Maybe this video will finally give you some insight and might even sway you to try it out for a trip see if you like it. Great video and finally answered the age-old question about what really goes on it first class!

2018 Is Going To Be An Expensive Year For Summer Road Trips

Summer fun is usually complete with an exciting road trip, but this year may require travelers to shell out more than what they used to spend for a summer road trip. Soaring price of oil is the culprit. It had been noted that oil prices are at its peak for the last three years. This is a significant figure to consider. So, if you have been into the tradition of having family fun travel every summer; crossing one state to another for adventure and collecting treasured memories along the way, you may have to cut cost on other travel expenditures to compensate for the increased cost of oil. Here are some tips to consider to cut allied cost for a family fun travel road trip: First – cut cost on food expenses without sacrificing the health of your family. Moms are very creative when it comes to this. The trick is to plan and list meals that are easy to prepare with minimal need of a stove. Purchase all ingredients days before the road trip so that there is time to go back to the grocery store if some important items were missed. Along with the planning, consider how the food will be packed and take into account how you will be storing the food inside your car without spilling or getting spoiled. Some travelers bring along with them a mini stove fueled by butane contained in a very small canister. One canister can be used for meals to cover three days worth of family meals. Of course, this depends on the food planned to be cooked during the road trip. But before you consider bringing along a mini stove, see to it that you can find a place to cook your food during the road trip. Other travelers carry with them a car fridge along with their mini stove. Then again, this could be practical if there are convenient places to cook during the trip. Second – cut cost on souvenir items. Many travelers have the habit of collecting souvenir items whenever they go to a place. Most of these souvenir items are priced at a much higher price than when bought in a non-tourist place. Third – cut cost on accommodation or hotel expenses. Some family fun road trips lasts for days. If you plan for your trip at least a month before the trip, you may be able to identify cheaper options without sacrificing convenience or comfort. Of course, carpooling is another way of cutting cost on your summer road trip. More company, more fun, right? This could work well though for singles who are traveling with a friend – they can simply find other people who are planning for a summer road trip and travel together. But, if you are planning for a family fun road trip, carpooling may not be an option. So, with the rising prices of oil, will it be a hindrance for you to go for a road trip this summer? Don’t let it stop you to have summer fun on the road. Have fun!

The Amazing Gesture Prince Harry Will Do For Meghan Is Really Romantic

Prince Harry will most likely to be wearing a ring following his May 19 wedding to Meghan. Neither his brother, Prince William nor his grandfather, Prince Philip, chose to wear rings. Prince William made the choice to go sans ring because he simply hates jewelry. Prince Charles wore a wedding ring while he was married to Princess Diana. He now wears a ring on his pinky finger as a proclamation of love for his wife, Camilla. Penny Junor, an author says: In the U.K., it is a modern tradition that man has adopted wearing a wedding ring. But it’s not that common around the aristocracy. Another hint that Harry may buck tradition and wear a wedding ring: the man loves jewelry. Harry is often spotted wearing bracelets, necklaces and other rings out in public. It’s true that only time will tell if Prince Harry decides to wear a ring, but all signs are pointing toward yes. And those signs become even more telling when you consider where Harry’s wedding ring material would come from. This romantic story begins when Prince Harry met Meghan Markle in the summer of 2016, and he was smitten right away. His choice to take her to Botswana for their third date, so they could camp out under the stars in the African bush, was all the evidence his friends needed that he had finally met someone exceptional. In addition, the other sweet spot is just before drink service begins. And an expert trick for masking any odors. During those times, you can realistically expect about 10 minutes of peace to take care of any pressing issues. The grounds will soak up the odor. What a nice tip! You might want to bear that in mind because you never know when it might come in handy. Next time you have unfinished business with your bowls and you are a guest in a household, but must visit the toilet, this fine tip might save you the trouble and embarrassment! Since then, Prince Harry and his soon-to-be-princess, actress Meghan Markle have become two incredibly visible people. The happy couple has dazzled crowds, both together and apart, all over the United Kingdom. Now, it is time for some radio silence and here’s why. According to the media, both the Prince and Meghan have no official engagements from now until their wedding day on May 19. This means that the next time we will see the duo will be as they walk down the aisle at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. This doesn’t mean that they will be kicking up their feet until then, as they are both very much engaged planning their wedding. For Harry, it means getting in his tip-top shape by hitting the gym and taking on his fiancé’s clean lifestyle by eating kale and quinoa instead of burgers and beer. As for Meghan, People magazine explains that she may be entertaining her bridal party over the next few weeks as they stealthily fly in and out of London for various fittings and meetings. We have no idea who will be part of the bridal party, but we do know of one person who will definitely be standing next to the couple on their big day and that is Prince William. Just last week the Palace announced that Prince Harry has confirmed that his older brother will take on the duties as best man . All in all, it will be pretty much like any other wedding. Except, maybe, the part where the whole world will be able to watch. No pressure or anything...

This Is The Worst Thing People Do On Flights, According To Annoyed Travelers

When you're squished into a tin can with hundreds of other people at 35,000 feet, there’s certain etiquette you should be sure to follow. Keep your socks on, people! Expedia’s Airplane and Hotel Etiquette Study for 2018 found that people had similar complaints about fellow passengers. While many people have their own personal pet peeves, the majority of respondents had the same complaints about other passengers. The top things people can’t stand are the following: barefoot passengers, seat kickers and excessively chatty and loud travelers. Do you find yourself in any of these descriptions? If yes, you should mind your manner, because you are annoying those around you! Going barefoot on a plane was definitely not cool with ninety percent of survey respondents, and fifty-one percent of those surveyed said seat kickers are the worst. Ninety percent of the respondents said they prefer to sleep instead of talking to other passengers. So, don’t be the Chatty Cathy on the plane! Other annoyances include inattentive parents, people who drink to excess, and ironically, complainers! The study also asked people about hotel annoyances and found that many get irked by loud parties. Sixty-six percent of the respondents said that they always of frequently use the ‘do not disturb’ door hanger during their stay. These are just some of the things that people find annoying with their fellow passengers. Do you have some annoyances to add to this list? Here Are Five Tricks To Help Your Ears Pop After A Flight56s

Here Are Five Tricks To Help Your Ears Pop After A Flight

Having trouble hearing on a flight can have its advantages - if there are crying babies on board, for example, or a rowdy bucks crowd seated nearby. But what if you’re struggling to pop your ears and get your senses back to normal? First off, why do your ears need popping? The change in air pressure on take-off and landing is what makes your ears feel stuffed up and congested. This happens when the Eustachian tubes that link you middle ear to the back of your throat get blocked. As a result, some people are unable to hear anything while others feel a dull pain. Rather than wait for that inconvenient, stuffy feeling to go away on its own, you can speed up the process by utilizing safe and natural methods designed to clear your Eustachian tubes and drain the fluids in your ears. These techniques can also come in handy if a cold or sinus infection has your ears blocked hours before a flight, and you want to prevent the potentially painful experience of flying with clogged ears. So, if you have trouble popping your ears on a flight, by following the five tricks below, you should find a solution that suits you: The Valslava Maneuver - close your mouth, pinch your nostrils together, and blow softly. The Toynbee Maneuver - pinch your nose and take few sips of water to help you swallow. Olive Oil or Hydrogen Peroxide - place 3 to 5 drops of lukewarm olive oil or hydrogen peroxide in each ear to help soften and remove earwax. Warm Compress - warm a washcloth under hot water and apply to your ear for 5 to 10 minutes. Steaming - boil a pot of water and inhale the steam to help thin the mucus and earwax in your ear.

Prince Harry's Best Man Announcement Will Melt Your Heart

As we were all waiting for news of the royal baby's name, Kensington Palace has opted to tide us over with an adorable announcement sharing the news that Prince William will be Prince Harry's best man. His announcement will melt your heart. After months of nail-biting anticipation, Prince Harry finally revealed who will be his best man. And that person, of course, is his brother, Prince William. In a series of tweets, Kensington Palace shared that Harry asked William to take the supporting role. It added in a second tweet that Harry had done the same for William at his 2011 wedding to Kate Middleton. Another tweet said William is “honored to have been asked”, alongside an adorable photo of the pair as kids. Harry and Williams have always been open about their close relationship. They often attribute this closeness to the loss of their mother at such young ages. “Our relationship is closer than it’s been because of the situation we have been through” - says Prince William . What remains a mystery is who will stand with Meghan as her maid of honor. Their father, the Prince of Wales, chose his brothers, Andrew and Edward, to be his supporter when he married Diana at St. Paul's Cathedral in 1981. And Prince Edward chose his brothers Charles and Andrew to be his supporters. Come May 19, William will no doubt excel in assisting his brother, whom he is "delighted" for. William has been very supportive of his brother since the 33-year-old royal and his bride-to-be announced their engagement in November. But, being his older brother, he had to get a dig in along with his congratulations last fall: “We’re very excited, delighted for them both. We’re wishing them all the happiness in this very exciting time,” he said, adding: “Personally, I hope it means he stays out of my fridge and will stop scrounging my food, which he’s done for the last few years!”
