We’ve spoken about these peculiar couplings since forever. Two seemingly antagonistic individuals find love and respect for one another and get along so splendidly, we can’t help but be jealous of their relationship. We have seen a dog and a cat, two species who we have been taught can never be close friends, do everything together.

This animal friendship is nothing short of amazing. You would think that a dog would not be so kind and considerate to something as a rat, but this one is! Alex Rose, the person who made this match go smoothly, says that his english bull terrier has been obsessed from day one with his pet rats. He has spent hours looking through the cage and he adores them. This video is the first time he let a rat crawl on him. Amazing!

Watch how calm this loving dog is as the rat uses his body as a bridge between the cage and the floor. It is absolutely hilarious how the terrier doesn’t move a muscle and sits perfectly still while the rat uses his body as a personal bridge, to facilitate the way down the cage. Simply adorable!

We love how gentle and patient the Bull Terrier is with the rat, waiting for the rodent to descend from from its cage. With his head bowed down and ears flat on his head, the dog extends his head so that the rat may jump on him and walk all over him, like a tiny mountain just begging to be explored. He doesn’t growl, he doesn’t even show teeth - he just sits there, peeking every once in a while to make sure his new friend has made it safe on top.

In another video, we see one sweet Dalmatian dog teaching a tiny foster kitten how to play like a pup! Zoey the 5-month-old Dalmatian pup adores her feline foster friends. The pup shares her fluffy bed with a litter of foster kittens, but her favorite is Calypso and it looks like the feelings are mutual. The kitten engages in a loving baby war with Zoey, never minding that the dog is at least five times bigger than her.

It appears that the compassionate little pooch loves to tend for his pets, and watching these dog and rat interact together
has made our day. Watch how careful the loving canine is while the rat is walking on his body. He cares so much for the rat not to fall on the floor, and that compassion has warmed our hearts. Cuteness overload! Even when they have not been brought up together, some seemingly unfriendly species can show compassion for one another and it has been caught on camera in this adorable clip.
