Today was - at first - a very crappy day. I created a bunch of technical headaches to start, then got hung up on an unfinishable quest. It took me forever to get it fixed, so I cut that part out of today's upload. We *did* have fun! I've moved forward quite a bit on the main questline; we're currently trying to get to the portal that the dragon - "The World-Eater," Aundriel is behind. It was a very tough battle just getting into the place, with high-level draugrs swarming me. And that continued as I delved deeper into the ruins. There is a loooonnnngggg way to go before we get to the end of this place, and I have no idea what's awaiting us at the end. Enjoy!!

[Ep. 116] The Daily All Hat, No Cattle News Rodeo
We have a lot of news from the usual suspects today: the economy, COVID madness, the southern border disaster, etc. I believe two things stand out, though - my opening monologue about the ending of yet another institution in my life here in Kenosha, and the final story about the results of the Navy's investigation into the 5-day fire that destroyed the Marine's amphibious assault ship, the Bonhomme Richard. As I predicted the day of the fire, a complete breakdown of command and infrastructure on the ship caused a recoverable fire (set by an arsonist) to turn into a disaster that led to the ultimate decommissioning of a war-fighting marvel. Our Navy (and the U.S. military in general) is in complete shambles, folks - and it's only going to get worse.

I'm sorry this is so late! I had to get a haircut and it took longer than anticipated. To be brief, my salon has lost almost everyone I know. I've been going there for 17 years and now there's exactly ONE person left from the crew I've grown to love. It was a very sad moment. :-((
Anyway, we had a good time today. The crawl with the lady (and greedy) adventurer ended in a spectacular fashion. Don't miss it!

Today was fun! There was a bit of consternation after getting lost (shocking, I know), but we had a ball with a *speaking* dragur. His name is Jaad the Regaler and the conversation was d*mn funny. Even better, I bought a few books from him (he's quite the reader) and there was a hilarious "ad" for "Brynolf's Brew." It seems Brynolf perfected Skyrim's version of Viagra - although the warnings about side-effects seem to be quite scary. LOL Enjoy!!

Busy day! We finished up from yesterday, then grabbed a few more Stones of Barenziah. After that we added a couple of new levels to our Thu' um inventory. We ended near the end of a very complicated crawl; we had to go back and forth in order to get items to move forward.

[NOTE: I forgot to switch screens for a few minutes after my crypto report. I'll be changing things to avoid that from now on.] It's another potpourri of news today: the economy, Afghan "refugee" resettlement snafus, a tough-as-nails south Texas rancher breaking down on camera, and Gaige Grosskreutz - who was shot by Kyle Rittenhouse - is suing my city for supporting "white supremacy." Riiiiiggghhhht... We end with some bizarre news regarding the snapping up of VPN providers by a company that made its money on malware/adware back in the bad-old-days of the internet. Take heed, good people, you may be searching for a new VPN outfit after hearing this.

I'm a vampire again!! I decided to go back to the Castle and get the Dawnguard radiant quests I'd blown off before. BUT! In order to do that, I had to be a vampire - something I'd been cured of a while ago. What's a mortal to do? I had Serana bite me - VOILA! - I'm a vampire. One caveat: I got lost in a huge cave and it took a while to get out. Feel free to fast forward until we're outside.

Today we quickly finished where we let off yesterday. After that, I wasted a LOT of time trying to do something simple for most folks, but too complicated for a 60+-year old with brain damage. I cut out as much of that insanity as I could to make today more enjoyable. We did some really fun stuff and I finally figured out how to summon the dragon from the Soul Cairn. It's pretty darn cool!

We have it all today: the economy, Afghanistan fallout, Jan. 6, 2A, Portland, the CCP-V, school insanity AND Bruce Willis. (We need more Bruce Willis!) We end the show with a perfect take on the southern border crisis by Seamus and the folks at FreedomToons. Enjoy!!

We did some crawls today while getting our Thu'um slots filled. I have no idea when we'll finish these side quests, but they're fun! Note: there WILL be a show Monday, the 18th. My lower plate (dental) fitting has been pushed back due to a problem with my last impression. They had to make a custom plate for me! The next scheduled appt. is Nov. 2., but I won't have to quit as early then as I did today.

[Ep. 113] The Daily All Hat, No Cattle News Rodeo
The U.S. economy is still the main thrust of our show, but COVID policies and their repercussions share the spotlight. There's a stirring defense of 2A by - of all people - a co-host on "The View!" The reaction to this by Joy Behar is the epitome of racism AND stoopidity in the same breath. SMH. I'm sorry to say we also have the viral ad from U.K. company John Lewis, which features a young boy in makeup and drag destroying a home to the tune of "17" by Stevie Nicks. At least the music is good. We cover takes on this by both Pink News and Terry Schilling, president of the American Principles Project. Guess which one is happy about this. Not to be outdone, Playboy is featuring a gay man -in the traditional Bunny costume - on it's next cover. Remember when men's magazines were all about entertaining straight men? Sheesh...

My apologies for this being late! I totally forgot to do the upload. :-((
We continued the final story line today. I talked about perhaps finishing tomorrow, but it looks like we may be delayed a bit as I've found some new things that need to be done. Anyway, we have a great conversation with Paarthurnax, the leader of the Graybeards for you to watch. Enjoy!

We roll through the exciting finish of the Dawnguard DLC (aka, the vampire quest line) and get started on the final "Dragon Attacks" quest line. There's a sticky part where I get confused at a Thalmor party, but the UESP wiki came through - as it always does.

[Ep. 112] The Daily All Hat, No Cattle News Rodeo
The U.S. economy is the big story today. From yet another record high inflation number, to a report that Biden is begging U.S. oil and gas producers to help him lower energy costs (their response is spot on), it's almost all bad news. Sorry! The Daily Mail.com's story on Hunter and Daddy's sharing multiple bank accounts is not surprising, but sad nonetheless. If we had a DOJ that actually cared about the "J" part, 46* would be staring down possible criminal charges. Maybe now Republicans will start saying "impeach him!" on the House/Senate floor instead of merely retweeting folks?

[Ep. 111] The Daily All Hat, No Cattle News Rodeo
LOTS of CCP-V news today: an insane mom sues her son's school and the school district because her kid caught COVID. I'm serious. Meanwhile, a 16-y.o. straight-A Wyoming student was arrested for trespassing at her school for repeated violations of their mask mandate. The worst part is her description of her treatment by "friends" and teachers for her resisting this insanity. SAD! The scariest COVID story today, IMO, is the potential fallout in elite DoD outfits over its mandatory vaccine requirement. If you think having 20% of airline flight crews leave the workforce, what about the same amount of of Coast Guard rescue swimmers, Navy SEAL teams, and Naval aviators? We're talking about our readiness to save lives, fight terrorists, and protect the fleet. Is this any way to run a war?

I had 20 lbs. of news to fit into a 10 lbs. bag today, so the end is a bit rushed. There's lots of business news, including a dire prediction of a recession - soon! Energy prices are going through the roof and it's going to get a lot worse, especially if this winter is exceptionally cold. The Biden admin. is also running up against it - with Treasury Sec. Yellen calling for your bank to tell the IRS of *any* transactions of $600 or more. (I guess Yellen never read the Constitution beyond the 3rd amendment.)

We finished the Crimson Nirnroot quest today, then moved forward w/ the next sections of the Dawnguard (Vampire) Elder Scrolls quest. We stopped just before we head out on a mission given to us by a Snow Elf (very rare!); specifically, to kill his brother! Check in tomorrow to see how that goes. Remember, you can join us every day @ 9 am ET for the live playthrough on either Twitch or DLive.

Today we went further on the Dawnguard Elder Scroll quest, but got sidetracked! Without expecting it, I started a side quest regarding Crimson Nirnroot - something I'd never seen before! I have to grab a few more before I can continue. I'll do that on my own time. See you tomorrow!

I'm sorry I'm a bit late, we went really long today. There are no stories on the border or Afghanistan today, but Biden's disastrous Sept. job numbers, Capitol Hill hijinks, and the latest victims of cancel culture more than make up for their absence. Remember, visit https://saveourfarmva.com/ and lend whatever support you can to Lt. Commander [Ret.] Tom Caldwell. The DOJ is railroading him for crimes even they admit he didn't commit. Don't the jack-boots destroy his life more than they already have.

[Ep. 108] The Daily All Hat, No Cattle News Rodeo
We spend a lot of time today going over the latest poll numbers for Biden and Harris. Pay attention to the breakdown between Black and Hispanic voters in the Biden survey. As Pres. Trump would say, "Not Good!" The border shows up twice today: a portion of an eye-opening and frank interview w/ former CBP chief Rodney Scott. Scott lays out in detail how Biden has destroyed the massive gains we'd made in securing the southern border. Also, some sobering numbers from CBP drug interdictions. Record after record in seizures have been made this year and there's no end in sight. This is the stuff we catch, folks. Imagine how much more is pouring through unprotected areas. Remember, there are over 400,000 "got-aways" this year - and that number is always a low ball of the actual count.

[Ep. 107] The Daily All Hat, No Cattle News Rodeo
This is late b/c I had a hard time trimming the show down to 2 hours. I finally had to lop off GBTUSA. :-(( The big story today is a group of cold case sleuths called The Case Breakers are certain they've identified The Zodiac Killer - a serial killer who terrorized the San Francisco area in the late 1960s. I read the whole article and came away 90% certain they've got the right guy. Unfortunately, the named individual died in 2018. A trial would have been epic! Lt. Colonel Stu Schiller Jr. has been released from the brig, but has some serious charges to beat. God Bless the one military person who put their career on the line to hold higher ups accountable. Once again, it's the people who challenge the status quo who get destroyed by The State. Not to be outdone, a hospital system in Colorado has notified a kidney transplant applicant that they're going to be taken off the active list if they don't get the CCP-V vaccine. I read a story a few weeks ago about something similar happening in the northwest. Where the hell has basic humanity gone in this country? Once again, the Babylon Bee takes us out on just the right note. Stick around!

I had to only do an hour today b/c I destroyed my Skyrim SE build and need to spend another 6 hours fixing it (on top of the previous 6 hours already). We cover the continued politicization of the DOJ - yet another direct lie by Biden who vowed to not do this exact thing. A.G. Garland said the exact same thing during his confirmation hearing. There's also a new report by Amnesty International about a mass killing of former Afghan Nat'l Security Force members, along with a 17-y.o. girl who was in a crowd that was indiscriminately fired into by the Taliban fighters. At least we know the Taliban is "practical and professional" according to the Biden admin.

We lead off today with prayers for FL Gov. DeSantis' wife Casey after learning of her breast cancer diagnosis. God Bless you, Casey. "F**k Joe Biden" again tops the charts as the most popular chant at weekend sports events. Both the Jets/Titans NFL game folks and the fans "cheering" for Joe during an NBC interview of the NASCAR Talladega XFinity race winner have gone viral. Listen to the NBC reporter trying to make believe the fans are actually cheering for the driver. LOL! We cover the Dems in-fighting in detail, along with a couple of "good guy with a gun" stories. (We need more of those to be reported.) The border crisis in Arizona makes an appearance today, as well as possible blackouts in Kabul due to the Taliban not paying its electric bills. There's also a lot of CCP-V news today, including the massively in-your-face takedown of Saint Fauci by Hugh Hewitt. It's a thing of beauty...

We mosey along today, continuing the Dawnstar, e.g., vampire quest. There is a dead spot near the end when a character freezes instead of going to a particular spot. I found some console commands to fix that, but I floundered for a couple of minutes as my brain damage kicked in and I made it more difficult than it really was. That's on me, folks.
