In this video, we’re going to take a look at a simple natural solution for cataracts. Cataracts can be described as cloudiness or opaqueness of the lens of the eye. They are the number one cause of blindness and are typically treated with surgery.
Too much oxidative stress can lead to cataracts. Oxidative stress occurs when there’s too much oxidation in the body and not enough antioxidants.
Too much oxidation in the eye mainly stems from sugar consumption. If you have too much sugar in your blood, four main tissues are affected: the nerves, kidneys, arteries, and eyes.
Sorbitol is a sugar alcohol that creates inflammation and glycation—and it tends to accumulate in the eye, creating cloudiness.
Sorbitol can affect the retina of the eye and the cells that compose the myelin in your nerves. It can also increase the pressure in your eye, contributing to conditions like glaucoma.
If you have cataracts, you need to change your diet and eliminate sugar. There is also another solution that may help.
L-carnosine is a powerful antioxidant that works within the mitochondria and has anti-glycation and anti-aging effects. It also acts as a pH buffer.
L-carnosine is an excellent option for the prevention and reversal of cataracts, but on its own, it can’t penetrate the eye. N-acetylcarnosine (NAC) is a compound that allows carnosine to penetrate the eye.
Research has shown promising effects of using a one percent solution of NAC for conditions like glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration.
Try using one to two drops of N-acetylcarnosine in each eye two to three times per day. Also, try taking NAC with zinc. Zinc is a powerful antioxidant and is important for NAC to be properly utilized in the body.

7:38 Get unfiltered health information by signing up for my newsletter
Today, we’re going to talk about the carbohydrate that’s more dangerous than sugar: maltodextrin.
Of all the ultra-processed food ingredients, I consider this one the worst.
Maltodextrin is GMO, refined, and highly processed. It can lead to belly fat, diabetes, and gut inflammation, yet it’s considered safe.
Even though maltodextrin is not a sugar and it’s not sweet, it behaves like sugar in the body. It’s also higher than sugar on the glycemic index.
Maltodextrin is an ingredient in many different products, from chips to seasonings, supplements, and infant formulas. It’s even in certain drinks like light beer, energy drinks, and sports drinks.
Because it’s not classified as a sugar, maltodextrin can also be added to sugar-free products even though it behaves like a sugar.
Maltodextrin is a filler ingredient, and there are loopholes that companies can use to legally add it to their products.
Other names for maltodextrin are dextrin, modified food starch, glucose syrup, corn starch, food starch, and corn syrup.
It’s crucial to start reading the ingredients in your products to avoid dangerous ingredients like maltodextrin.

1:10 Rhodiola and exercise
7:58 Learn more about how to lower cortisol by following the link above
Let’s talk about rhodiola. Rhodiola is an adaptogen, which is a type of herb that helps you adapt to stress.
It’s been suggested that rhodiola has a really interesting effect of significantly reducing perceived effort after exercise.
Rhodiola has a lot of potential benefits and may help with certain issues, including:
• Stress
• Coughing
• Fatigue
• Depression
• Altitude sickness
• Tissue and organ damage from hypoxia
Rhodiola may even help support cognitive function as well as improve HRV and angina pain.
In one study, people who took rhodiola had more energy after exercise than those who had a placebo.
Sleep is a huge factor when it comes to recovery from stress and exercise. It just so happens that rhodiola may help support healthy sleep cycles. One study even suggested that your body may need less sleep to get rejuvenated when taking rhodiola.
Rhodiola may also help increase glycogen reserves (stored fuel) and ATP (energy).
I don’t believe rhodiola tricks the brain into perceiving less effort. I think it helps increase endurance by increasing efficiency in the body.

Today, we’re going to talk about sitting and what it’s doing to your fitness level.
Fitness makes up just one part of your health. You also have your diet, supplements, and sleep. But you can’t get fit without motion—without exercise.
Fitness is an enhanced capacity to survive and adapt to your environment. It’s an extra tool to help you buffer stress more easily, increase flexibility and strength, and look and feel better.
On the flip side, a sedentary lifestyle is associated with stress and disease. Sitting for long periods can affect your entire body. If you’re sitting in front of a screen for long periods, your risk for certain health issues goes up even more.
How to support your health if you have to sit for long periods:
• Take frequent breaks and stretch or exercise
• Use lumbar support while driving and a lumbar support device to stretch the lower back before bed
• Get a comfortable office chair and continue to move your body as you sit
• Get into a hobby that involves motion
• Go for long walks and get sunshine
• Get something to block the blue light from your computer screen
• Get more exercise—try yoga or pilates
• Be more aware of EMFs and distance yourself from them
• Try a treadmill desk or standing desk

Today, I want to cover the most inflammatory food in the world.
There is a lot of debate over what the most inflammatory food is. Some people say meat, while others say it's the fiber in plants.
Some people do well consuming fiber, and others don’t. Why? Humans can’t digest fiber. Your microbes are what break down fiber by fermenting it.
While fiber is anti-inflammatory, unfermented fiber is inflammatory. If you don’t have enough of the right microbes in your gut, you could have more of an issue with fiber than other people.
Certain things like antibiotics, improper nutrition as a child, ultra-processed foods, and glyphosate can alter your microbiome and lead to inflammation.
The most inflammatory foods in the world are ultra-processed foods: a basic recipe of sugar, flour, and seed oils with a dash of glyphosate.

Every year, a few times a year, I have a bad reaction to poison ivy. This time, it has affected my eye.
Each time I was exposed and had a bad reaction, I was given prednisone. It got to the point where, after I was exposed, the effects of the poison ivy wouldn’t go away after using prednisone.
People typically take prednisone for its anti-inflammatory or immune suppressant effects. But, prednisone has side effects.
Prednisone is a synthetic version of cortisol. Cortisol has benefits. It’s a hormone that helps the immune system and prepares the body for stress. But, high cortisol levels can lead to a lot of health concerns.
You don’t want to be on prednisone forever. The more you take it, the more it weakens the system. But, if you stop taking it, your symptoms may come back. So, why don't we get to the root problem? Keep in mind that once you start taking prednisone, it’s important not to come off of it too fast. Prednisone and cortisol also deplete the body of numerous vitamins and minerals.
The best ways to lower cortisol:
1. Lower your stress (do physical work, exercise, spend more time on a hobby, and take certain nutrients)
2. Take ashwagandha
3. Try breathing exercises
4. Use an HRV device to better understand your stress

Today, I’m going to share how to remove skin tags and warts fast. In some cases, it may take a few days to a few weeks. However, I think you’ll notice a shrinkage in the skin tag or wart each time you apply this natural remedy.
Skin tags and warts are growths on the skin that are essentially benign tumors. Benign tumors don’t spread and aren’t cancerous.
Skin tags and warts are associated with high levels of estrogen, high insulin levels, and HPV. 95% of the population has HPV.
Natural killer cells kill cancer cells and certain viruses. HPV weakens your natural killer cells.
Other things that can weaken your natural killer cells are:
• Stress
• Injury
• Trauma
• Bereavement
• Surgery
• Nutrient deficiencies (especially zinc and vitamin D)
• Chronic inflammation
• Aging
The best natural remedy for skin tags and warts:
Add one drop of povidone-iodine to a small bowl. Crush one clove of garlic and add one drop of the liquid to the bowl with the iodine. Mix to combine. Use a Q-tip to apply the mixture onto the skin tag or wart, and place a Band-Aid over it. Repeat this every day until the wart or skin tag is gone.
There is also a fantastic potential natural remedy for HPV called AHCC. AHCC may help increase the potency of your natural killer cells. It re-establishes the strength of your immune system so your body can clear out the virus. It also strengthens the autonomic nervous system.

Today, I want to introduce you to something called heart rate variability (HRV).
HRV is a measurement of the variations between the heartbeats. There are different time distances between your heartbeats.
The more varied the timing is between the heartbeats, the healthier a person is, and the higher the HRV is. The less varied the timing is, the less healthy the person is, and the lower the HRV is.
HRV measures the autonomic nervous system. It has been well-researched and can help a person understand their ability to adapt to and recover from stress.
Many people use this technology to determine whether or not their body can handle the stress of working out on a given day. Maybe they can handle doing high-intensity training one day, but their body would do better with a day off or with low-impact exercise the next.
There are many different lifestyle changes you can make to help improve your overall health. HRV technology can help give you feedback to see if what you’re doing is actually benefiting you. It can even tell you your biological age and rate of aging.
You really can’t take your health to the next level if you can’t measure it. This is a fantastic and easy-to-use tool to help you do that right at home.

11:22 Key takeaways
17:56 Final thoughts
In this video, I have an amazing success story to share with you. Guy Tenenbaum had stage 4 cancer. He is now cancer-free!
For many years, Guy dealt with numerous health problems, including:
• Type II diabetes
• Hypertension
• High cholesterol
• Joint and bone pain
• Chronic inflammation
• Weight problems
After repeatedly insisting on a PSA (a protein that can be produced cancerous tissue in the prostate) test, doctors discovered that Guy had serious cancer.
They told them that there was nothing they could do for him and that he only had a few months to live.
Guy then searched out other options and opinions. Other doctors told him the same story. But he did not give up hope—he did not accept what doctors told him was his fate.
Guy then decided to take his health into his own hands. He began to study everything he could on cancer.
Then, he discovered the realm of natural medicine and fasting. He fasted for 45 days. During his fast he consumed natural cancer-killing nutrients.
There are two key takeaways:
1. Prolonged fasting helps induce autophagy
2. Low or no-calorie nutrients and herbs are vital along the way to increase the cancer-killing power of fasting
Guy consumed:
• Green tea
• Ginger
• Turmeric
• Pepper
• Salt
• Protein supplements
• Vegetables
• Garlic (whole and supplements)
Today, Guy is healthy and cancer-free!

0:00 Introduction: Why you need zinc to prevent a vitamin D deficiency
0:10 The vitamin D and zinc connection explained
1:13 Zinc deficiency symptoms
3:20 Foods high in zinc
3:45 Zinc deficiency causes
5:30 Discover the important connection between magnesium and vitamin D
Today, we’re going to talk about the fascinating connection between vitamin D and zinc.
Many people don’t realize that zinc is vital to allow vitamin D to work in the body. If you’re deficient in zinc, the vitamin D receptor won’t accept vitamin D. On the flip side, vitamin D allows zinc to be transported through the body.
Symptoms of zinc deficiency:
• Loss of taste or smell
• Low testosterone
• Diarrhea
• Alopecia
• Inflammatory skin problems
• Vision problems
• Ulcers
• Inflammation
• Poor immunity
• Thymus atrophy
Foods rich in zinc:
• Oysters
• Lobster
• Shrimp
• Liver
• Red meat
Causes of a zinc deficiency:
• Not consuming foods high in zinc
• Consuming phytates (in grains and legumes)
• Pregnancy
• Sickle cell anemia

Today, I want to cover important things you can try to lower your risk for cancer.
Cancer originates from normal cells. When something harmful happens in your environment, it can potentially create destruction to the mitochondria in your cells.
Damaged mitochondria can no longer provide energy to a cell, and the cell is forced to use a different energy source. Now, we’re looking at a cancer cell.
When mitochondria become damaged, and a cell turns into a cancer cell, the cancer cell becomes immortal. It also produces inflammation, and it seems to grow and spread into areas of inflammation.
Mitochondria have many more functions than just producing energy. In my opinion, to reduce your risk of cancer, you need to reduce your risk of developing damage to the mitochondria.
Natural ways to decrease your cancer risk:
1. Do intermittent and periodic prolonged fasting
2. Exercise
3. Get quality sleep
4. Socialize

Let’s talk about sea salt.
It’s important to get sea salt that has been extracted from parts of the world with very low, or zero, microplastics.
The best types of sea salt are:
• Himalayan sea salt
• Celtic Sea Salt
• Redmond Real Salt sea salt
• Baja Gold sea salt
All of these types of sea salt contain sodium chloride and trace minerals.
If you want a sea salt that’s higher in trace minerals, you might want to go with Baja Gold. But, if you need more sodium chloride, the other types of sea salt I’ve mentioned are all great choices.
Table salt, or sodium chloride, only has two minerals. Sea salt has between 60 and 94 minerals. Regular salt can also come from very polluted areas and can contain microplastics. Microplastics can affect the body’s endocrine system.
People who are salt-sensitive may really just need to go on a low-carb diet and consume more potassium.
You need sea salt to support a healthy body. A deficiency in sodium or chloride can lead to all kinds of issues.
If you’re deficient in sodium, you may feel more anxiety and have trouble sleeping. Sodium deficiency can impact your immune system and lead to high blood pressure. Sea salt also helps hydrate you, and without enough sodium, your risk for insulin resistance goes up.
If you’re on keto and are doing intermittent fasting, it’s essential to consume enough sea salt. If you don’t, you could experience symptoms like low blood pressure, dehydration, and overall weakness. If you exercise, your need for sea salt goes up even more.

6:13 Natural alternatives for hypertension

Today, I want to share an interesting home remedy that can potentially lower your risk of hypertension.
Many people with high blood pressure are told to reduce their sodium intake. However, a deficiency in sodium can lead to high blood pressure. A low-salt diet can actually worsen your blood pressure.
In my opinion, potassium is one of the key factors in restoring healthy blood pressure levels. Not decreasing sodium—just increasing potassium.
Vitamin D is also important for someone with hypertension, especially essential hypertension.
Insulin resistance is at the heart of metabolic syndrome. Metabolic syndrome is a combination of hypertension, high blood glucose, fatty liver disease, and high cholesterol. It’s crucial to go on a low-carb diet to support healthy blood pressure levels.
Natural alternatives for hypertension:
1. Consume more potassium (vegetables)
2. Go on a low-carb diet
3. Take vitamin D or get more sun
You can also try an incredible and simple breathing technique to help lower your blood pressure fast. This technique is called paced breathing.
Take six complete breaths per minute. Slowly breathe through your nose using your chest, inhale for five seconds, and exhale for five seconds. Do this periodically throughout the day.
Other potential benefits of paced breathing:
• It can help increase oxygen saturation
• It can help increase exercise tolerance
• It can help decrease sympathetic overdrive
