A Breathtaking Synchronised Diving At World Cup
This is a real breathtaking synchronised dive of Tom Daley and Matty Lee from England winning Gold at Men’s Synchro 10m Platform Diving, World Championship. I could say they are perfect diving partners!
But what is synchronised diving?
Synchronized diving was adopted as an Olympic sport in 2000. Two divers form a team and perform dives simultaneously. The dives are identical. It used to be possible to dive opposites, also known as a pinwheel, but this is no longer part of competitive synchronized diving. For example, one diver would perform a forward dive and the other an inward dive in the same position, or one would do a reverse and the other a back movement. In these events, the diving would be judged both on the quality of execution and the synchronicity – in timing of take-off and entry, height and forward travel.
There is a general misconception about scoring and judging. In serious meets, the absolute score is somewhat meaningless. It is the relative score, not the absolute score that wins meets. Accordingly, good judging implies consistent scoring across the dives. Specifically, if a judge consistently gives low scores for all divers, or consistently gives high scores for the same divers, the judging will yield fair relative results and will cause divers to place in the correct order. However, absolute scores have significance to the individual divers. Besides the obvious instances of setting records, absolute scores are also used for rankings and qualifications for higher level meets.
In synchronised diving events, there is a panel of seven, nine, or eleven judges; two or three to mark the execution of one diver, two or three to mark the execution of the other, and the remaining three or five to judge the synchronisation. The execution judges are positioned two on each side of the pool, and they score the diver which is nearer to them. The 2012 London Olympics saw the first use of eleven judges.
The score is computed similarly to the scores from other diving events, but has been modified starting with the 2012 London Olympics for the use of the larger judging panels. Each group of judges will have the highest and lowest scores dropped, leaving the middle score for each diver's execution and the three middle scores for synchronization. The total is then weighted by 3⁄5 and multiplied by the DD. The result is that the emphasis is on the synchronization of the divers.
The synchronisation scores are based on:
time of take-off
height attained
synchronisation of rotations and twists
time of entry to the water
forward travel from the board
The judges may also disqualify the diver for certain violations during the dive, including:
receiving a score of 0 on all dives performed in the event
improper equipment usage (e.g., female divers not using hair ties)

When Olympic Medallist Chen Aisen tries "DOUBLE DIVING" with a style!
When Chinese Olympic Medallist Chen Aisen tries double diving with a style!
Let's check this out guys how an Olympic Medallist did a double diving style.
Diving is the sport of jumping or falling into water from a platform or springboard, usually while performing acrobatics. Diving is an internationally recognized sport that is part of the Olympic Games. In addition, unstructured and non-competitive diving is a recreational pastime.
Competitors possess many of the same characteristics as gymnasts and dancers, including strength, flexibility, kinaesthetic judgment and air awareness. Some professional divers were originally gymnasts or dancers as both the sports have similar characteristics to diving. Dmitri Sautin holds the record for most Olympic diving medals won, by winning eight medals in total between 1992 and 2008.

Crazy world of pole vaulting: Best of the best- Piotr Lisek
The crazy world of pole vaulting! World athletics championships best of the best-Piotr Lisek!
The real world of pole vaulting isn’t easy!
Look at that fly!
That was insane! A perfect clear!
Get to know this Polish pole vaulter!
Piotr Lisek
Piotr Lisek who was born on 16 August 1992 is a Polish athlete specialising in the pole vault. He won bronze medals at the 2015 and 2019 World Championships and the silver medal at the 2017 World Championships. He is the first Polish vaulter to jump over 6 meters.
His personal bests in the event are 6.02 metres outdoors (Monaco 2019) and 6.00 metres indoors (Potsdam 2017).
THE WORLD ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS:
The World Athletics Championships are a biennial athletics competition organized by World Athletics (formerly IAAF, International Association of Athletics Federations).
The World Championships were started in 1976 in response to the International Olympic Committee dropping the men's 50 km walk from the Olympic programme for the 1976 Montreal Olympics, despite its constant presence at the games since 1932. The IAAF chose to host its own world championship event instead, a month and a half after the Olympics. It was the first World Championships that the IAAF had hosted separate from the Olympic Games (traditionally the main championship for the sport).
A second limited event was held in 1980, and the inaugural championships in 1983, with all the events, is considered the official start of the competition. Until 1980, the Olympic champions were also considered as reigning World champions.
At their debut, these championships were then held every four years, until 1991, when they switched to a two-year cycle since.
WHAT IS POLE VAULTING:
Pole vaulting, also known as pole jumping, is a track and field event in which an athlete uses a long and flexible pole, usually made from fiberglass or carbon fiber, as an aid to jump over a bar. ... Pole jumping competitions were known to the ancient Greeks, Cretans and Celts. It has been a full medal event at the Olympic Games since 1896 for men and since 2000 for women.
It is typically classified as one of the four major jumping events in athletics, alongside the high jump, long jump and triple jump. It is unusual among track and field sports in that it requires a significant amount of specialised equipment in order to participate, even at a basic level. A number of elite pole vaulters have had backgrounds in gymnastics, including world record breakers Yelena Isinbayeva and Brian Sternberg, reflecting the similar physical attributes required for the sports.Running speed, however, may be the most dominant factor. Physical attributes such as speed, agility and strength are essential to pole vaulting effectively, but technical skill is an equally if not more important element. The object of pole vaulting is to clear a bar or crossbar supported upon two uprights (standards) without knocking it down.

Unbelievable And Loudest Russian Roar!
So surprising to know how this athlete burst into such strong emotion after a successful long jump.
Witness this video of a Russian athlete's loudest shout ever after a long
jump. Indeed it is interesting to watch this kind of track and field event
What is a long jump sport?
The long jump is a track and field event in which athletes combine speed, strength and agility in an attempt to leap as far as possible from a takeoff point. Along with the triple jump, the two events that measure jumping for distance as a group are referred to as the "horizontal jumps". This event has a history in the ancient Olympic Games and has been a modern Olympic event for men since the first Olympics in 1896 and for women since 1948.

This is how you learn to fly! Armand Duplantis, Men’s Pole Vault World Record Holder
This is how you learn to fly! Armand Duplantis, Men’s Pole Vault World Record Holder, Tokyo Olympic Gold Medalist and the world’s best pole vaulter!
Armand "Mondo" Duplantis representing Sweden – became a European champion with a height of 6.05 metres at just 18 years of age.
Saut à la perche : Armand Duplantis bat le record du monde avec une barre à 6,17 m.
Let's get to know Armand Duplantis:
Armand Gustav "Mondo" Duplantis (born 10 November 1999) is a Swedish pole vaulter and the current world indoor record holder with a height of 6.18 metres and a world best (outdoor) of 6.15 metres. He won the gold medal at the 2021 Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo. Duplantis won gold as a 15-year-old in the boys' pole vault at the 2015 World Youth Championships and holds a number of age group world bests. He won the gold medal at the 2018 European Championships with a height of 6.05 metres (a new under-20s world record), and the silver medal at the 2019 World Championships. Duplantis has also won the 2020 Diamond League and the 2021 European Indoor Championships, setting Championship Bests at both.
On 6 March 2021, Duplantis competed at the 2021 European Indoor Championships. He was the overwhelming favourite to win the title after the late withdrawal of Renaud Lavillenie with injury. Duplantis was still tested by Piotr Lisek and Lavillenie's younger brother Valentin who went on to claim bronze and silver respectively - the latter with a personal best. Duplantis however set a new championship record of 6.05 m before making three unsuccessful attempts at 6.19 m, his second narrowly missing the world record
Facts: Pole Vault sport in the Olympics
The pole vault at the Summer Olympics is grouped among the four track and field jumping events held at the multi-sport event. The men's pole vault has been present on the Olympic athletics programme since the first Summer Olympics in 1896. The women's event is one of the latest additions to the programme, first being contested at the 2000 Summer Olympics – along with the addition of the hammer throw, this brought the women's field event programme to parity with the men's.
The Olympic records for the event are 6.03 m (19 ft 9+1⁄4 in) for men, set by Thiago Braz da Silva in 2016, and 5.05 m (16 ft 6+3⁄4 in) for women, set by Yelena Isinbayeva in 2008. Isinbayeva's 2008 mark was a world record at the time and her 2004 victory in 4.91 m (16 ft 1+1⁄4 in) had been the first women's world record in the pole vault to be set at the Olympics. In spite of its longer history, the men's Olympic event has only seen two world record marks – a clearance of 4.09 m (13 ft 5 in) by Frank Foss at the 1920 Antwerp Olympics and Władysław Kozakiewicz's vault of 5.78 m (18 ft 11+1⁄2 in) to win at the 1980 Moscow Olympics.[1]
Yelena Isinbayeva and Bob Richards are the only two athletes to win two Olympic pole vault titles, and also the only two athletes to win more than two Olympic medals in the discipline. The United States is by far the most successful nation in the event, having won 21 gold medals and 49 medals in total. France is the next most successful with three gold medallists.

Daley started diving at the age of seven and is a member of Plymouth Diving Club, where his talent was identified early, and made an impact in national and international competitions from age nine. He represented Great Britain at the 2008 Summer Olympics where he was Britain's youngest competitor, age fourteen, and the youngest from any nation to participate in a final. In 2009, Daley reached a career-best ranking of number one in the FINA World Aquatics Championships Diving Rankings for the 10 m platform. He won two gold medals for England at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, in the 10 m synchro diving (with Max Brick) and the 10 m Individual Platform competition.

Synchronized diving (synchro diving) is a sport in which two divers dive at the same time as a team from a three-meter springboard or a ten-meter platform. It is one type of diving which has belonged to the Olympic games since 2000 Sydney Olympics. The competition consists of five or six rounds depending on the events. Divers dive two basic dives during the first two rounds. Then they dive more complex freestyle dives from the third to the fifth round.
-History of Synchronized Diving
Synchronized diving was internationally introduced at the 1995 FINA world cup. In 1999, four synchronized diving events were added as the Olympic programme at the IOC Executive Board meeting held in Lausanne. Then, it became an Olympic sport with its debut at the 2000 Sydney games with three-meter springboard and ten-meter platform events for both men and women.
-Dive Groups
There are six groups of dives. The first four show the direction the diver rotates.
1. Forward group: The diver faces the front of the board and jumps toward the water.
2. Backward group: Backward dives begin on the end of the board with divers back to the water.
3. Reverse group: Reverse dives begin with the diver facing the front of the board and then rotates toward the board.
4. Inward group: these dives begin on the end of the board with divers’ back to the water but then rotates toward the board.
5. Twisting group: Any dive that uses a twist excluding armstands.
6. Armstand group: The dives begin with a handstand position on the end of the platform before the dive.

Unbelievable British Tom Daley's debut as world champion in diving at the age of 15!
Unbelievable British Tom Daley's debut as world champion in diving at the age of 15!
In 2009, Tom Daley at the age of 15 became Great Britain's first individual world diving champion in the 10metre platform title at the World Championships in Rome.
He was third entering the final round and while he scored four 10s on his last dive, his rivals faltered. Daley's fantastic score of 539.85 points saw him overhaul Chinese pair Qui Bo and Zhou Luxin to claim the title and made the British youngster at that time flustered, aghast and speechless.

Can You Spot The Sniper Before He Shoots You?
THIS IS JUST A GAME! Try to imagine you are fighting now with the Russians! Can you spot the sniper? This is how to check your eyes! Olympic Level & Sharp Eyesight!
Can you spot the snipers hiding in the woods? Quickly find the sniper before he shoots you!
Military snipers train rigorously to be undetectable to the enemy. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a sniper?
In order not to be seen by the intended target, a great sniper has to have two qualities: great shooting skills and mastery in art of blending in (extremely well) with their surroundings, that they’re hard to be seen, even if you have very keen eyes and know where to look.By the way, trained snipers are capable of accurately shooting targets that are more than a mile away.
JustFacts:
A sniper is a military/paramilitary marksman who engages targets from positions of concealment or at distances exceeding the target's detection capabilities.
Ghillie suit
A ghillie suit, also known as a yowie suit, or camo tent, is a type of camouflage clothing designed to resemble heavy foliage. Typically, it is a net or cloth garment covered in loose strips of burlap, cloth or twine, sometimes made to look like leaves and twigs, and optionally augmented with scraps of foliage from the area. Snipers and hunters may wear a ghillie suit to blend into their surroundings and conceal themselves from enemies or targets. The suit gives the wearer's outline a three-dimensional breakup, rather than a linear one. When manufactured correctly, the suit will move in the wind in the same way as surrounding foliage.( https://www.definitions.net/ )
