Kit Hart is the Chapter Chair of the Carroll Co, MD Moms for Liberty, and received the first National Joyful Warrior Award in 2022. She is a homeschooling mother of 5, and has led several peaceful protests, rallies and events throughout the state of MD. Most recently, Kit appeared on OANN, NewsMax and the Kim Klacik show. the list of books that our chapter is working hard to remove from schools. The underlying theme that can be found in all of these books is sexual content. Kit has led an effort to remove the 50 worst books found in our schools that she and her chapter thought most parents, regardless of their political affiliation, would want removed. These are the books that expose children to *EXPLICIT* sexual content entertainment censors would classify as "for mature audiences only.* For their efforts, Kit and her chapter have been met with extreme criticism and backlash from members of their own community who argue that ALL children should have access to this content. Join me for a conversation with Caedran Sullivan, a courageous 11th grade English teacher from Shawnee Mission, Kansas. Caedran decided she'd had enough of the ideological push in education in Kanas, so she penned an oped to alert parents to the reality on the inside of their schools. She was not prepared for what happened next... Sullivan, a 16 year veteran educator, has been featured on Fox News, Fox Business and Newsmax Sharing her story. Caedran sits down with The Lawrence Beat to discuss her observations and the atmosphere she says she saw begin to shift in 2016. You may have noticed teachers equating laws against teach gender ed to minors, against school libraries being able to feature porn in school libraries, with Nazi policies leading up the the Holocaust. Dissident teachers do exist, however, along with parents, and they being called "book burners," and "Nazis." The irony is palpable, but the use of Holocaust victimology proceeds apace, and is used to defame teachers who try to speak out against the child-abuse that is gender-ed. Ray Shelton is one such dissident teacher. He stood up recently for his students, and their parents, and suffered the consequences. Paul Rossi is a high school mathematics teacher, tutor, writer, and musician. He has been tutoring since 2007 and taught math at Grace Church School from 2012 to 2021. Wilson, III became the full-time Education and Enrichment Program (EEP) Director in 2006 at West Angeles Church after earning his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from George Washington University and enjoying a 20-year career as an aerospace engineer and years of volunteer youth work in his church and community. His region-wide outreach includes coaching math teachers and consulting with charter school staff to help them build strong math curriculums. John has also served on several community boards at El Camino Community College, received the Vertie Blackwell Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019, El Camino Community Service Award in 2007, and the NAACP Man of Valor Award in 2006 and 2010. John has 3 successful grown children and is married and lives in Long Beach. Dissident Teacher is anonymous because she is still teaching in a CA school. Ray Raymond has a teaching career spanning 29 years in both public and private schools from the kindergarten to the university level. He is still employed in the California public schools system. Rose Bronstein is a social media safety and anti-cyberbullying advocate. Inspired by the loss of her 15 year-old son Nate to suicide in 2022, after he faced vicious attacks, harassment and threats of physical harm by a group of his classmates/teammates Chicago Latin School, Rose founded Buckets over Bullying to get parents and educators off the sidelines, to END cyberbullying for once and for all! Buckets Over Bullying is a Chicago-based non-profit initiative whose mission is to stop cyberbullying of children and teens through education, lawmaking and legal action. Parents: it's hard enough teaching character and values to our kids ourselves! We don't always manage our emotions perfectly, but we love our kids and are genuinely interested in their individual well being and future success, not some "collective goal," for the achievement of which they are a mere TOOL to be used! Now envision the teachers you've seen, not just in TikTok, but in your own school--the ones you're more than a little afraid of, because they might retaliate against your kid (or you)? Think of their bosses, the administrators, and how carefully you write the emails you sent to them when you have a question or a complaint… Or maybe you're too afraid to ride at all because you don't wanna rock the boat. Deep down in your gut, you know they are the mean girls even the men amongst them are behaving like mean girls who condescend and pretend to be nice and caring, until you press the issue, at which time they turn cold, or vaguely threatening. Are these the people you want teaching your kids "empathy" and compassion?! Cherry Hill Parent Rick Short asked me to analyze his district's dress code, and some comments recently made by the Superintendent, Joe Meloche about it, so here we are, doing just that. The dress code is not a cause of anything, it's a symptom of poor leadership, which has far-reaching consequences, well beyond the lives of these students, even beyond the state of New Jersey. In this video, I ask parents to put themselves in their children's shoes, and to consider what it is they're paying for with their high taxes. Is it academic excellence? How about sound leadership from the adults in charge of their kids so they can even HOPE to achieve academic excellence? If so, Cherry Hill parents are in for a rude awakening: they're getting NEITHER. Towards the end of this video, I explain what I think Joe Meloche embodies, using this article, which I hope my audience will read and share widely.
