Make a simple PVC Pump with a PING PONG BALL - by VOGMAN
Make A simple PVC Pump at home with a ping pong ball and some leftover plumbing parts. This pump is reliable, simple, affordable and it could make your life easier.
Now I specifically wanted to pump vegetable oil, but this pump design will easily handle water or other suitable liquids.
I've tried a lot of cheap pumps, such as drill pumps and syphon pumps, but I found these didn't work that well. I wanted something specific to my needs, something custom built. This pump shifts an impressive amount of liquid for its size and is very easy to build using just basic tools, some PVC fittings and a few nuts and bolts. Its simple design makes it reliable, affordable and easy to repair or replace. All in all, a great hand pump that's worth making - even if you don't need it yet... because one day you'll be pleased you did.

Further to my How To Make a Waste Oil Burner video (https://youtu.be/vQzuNOBOPOs), I've received some feedback from more experienced waste oil burner builders. Their advice was spot on and made significant improvements to an already effective burner. In this video you'll also see me using this oil burner to melt and recycle aluminium soda cans with ease.
This compressor-free oil burner really is effective and easy to build. Enjoy!

SIMPLE Waste Oil Burner DIY builtd from spare parts. Want to power a home furnace or foundry on recycled fuel? No complex parts or compressors needed here.

Here I talk about using waste vegetable oil in a waste oil burner. I use this one to melt recycled metals for use on other projects.
There's lots of videos on this subject but I found most of these too complex or lacking detail. This oil burner is very simple. There's no moving parts and no specific dimensions. So it's an easy DIY construction for anyone out there with a few spare plumbing parts. But it works very well!
If you want to know how to build a SIMPLE and effective waste oil burner then please watch.

How to add a fused circuit to your vehicle – how to fuse tap - by VOGMAN
Want to connect a fused circuit / fuse tap your vehicle? Want to power an auxiliary device like a dashcam or power socket? Want it safe, reliable and with clear and simple instructions?
Here I’m looking at adding a fused circuit directly from the fuse box of a vehicle to safely power any auxiliary device adding a fuse tap using a *Piggyback Fuse Holder like these...*
AMAZON UK ▶ https://amzn.to/3PsYKly
AMAZON US ▶ https://amzn.to/3AqecLa
AMAZON CA ▶ https://amzn.to/3w9D3Ae
My car’s fuse box is not very convenient for making a video, so I used a model fuse board and a few helpful diagrams to make this really simple to understand.
I also very quickly run through some extremely basic electronics, particularly in relation to vehicles, to give you the knowledge to safely connect circuits in the future.
I ensure that the connection is safe and secure by using a piggyback fuse holder which provides a stable, reliable connection and a fused outlet.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Some folks are bothered by Piggyback Fuse Holders. I've had many comments about them. To help appease these folks I conducted a fuller investigation of the Piggyback which you can see online here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mBa5rRZbCk
The outcome of this was that in my opinion the Piggyback is safe and dependable. It can be fitted either way and will still work correctly. However, if fitted incorrect and IF the original fuse blows, then it will not provide power (until the fuse is replaced).
SAFETY CONCERN:
Whilst fitting a Piggyback Fuse Holder / Wire Tap is acceptable, there is the danger of overload. I strongly recommend watching my video dedicated to the subject here - https://youtu.be/hvi-Xv9wFOI

How to make a FLETCHING JIG - simple & effective - by VOGMAN
Simple, homemade fletching jig used to feather my arrows for target archery. The jig allows for perfect placement of feathers at multiple angles and can be used for straight or offset alignment. I also give brief details on how to build the jig.
The size of the feathers is dependent on how big the jig is. This one can support feathers up to 6 inches but you could build a jig for any size feather, including Medieval.
This fletching jig has a dial that connects to the nock of the arrow, allowing me to rotate the arrow for perfect placement of the cock feather, the left hen or the right hen. If you prefer, you could fit 2 feathers, or 4 or 5, etc. That choice is yours.
This fletching jig works on target-type point arrows. It's no good for broadheads, etc (sorry guys).
Credit for the PVC feather clamp has to go to Backyard Bowyer (thanks Nick) which you can see here:

CUSTOM DRLs make daytime running lights yourself - by VOGMAN
Custom DRLs: Want to make a custom Daytime Running Light for your vehicle? Can't find DRLs to fit your make and model?
I made custom DRLs to fit my Toyota Land Cruiser LC4 2005 (Prado, 120 series) but the idea can work on any vehicle. These homemade DIY, Daytime Running Lights use Eagle Eye LEDs from eBay and create a durable, reliable, bright set of lights.
Here I also describe in detail two possible circuits to power these DRLs:
1) The switch them off at night or
2) To dim them.
I provide the circuits within.
See my website http://vegoilguy.co.uk/drl.php for more help.
