The more we stand with Jesus before the Throne of God, the more we become like Jesus. This truth is the abundant foundation of our uncharted “Freedom” study! May we say yes to living today in the freedom of Jesus!

The answer is simple. The answer is Jesus! He is there, before the Throne of God, to protect us, stand beside us, and pray for us. Oh, how Good is our Jesus!

To answer this question we must first set our self-assessment aside and assess where the Spirit is in our lives—deeper still, where He is in each step of our lives. This requires vulnerability.

As we focus on each right thing to do—and we do it—then we are living the life created for us, a life lived in freedom from sin.

Eternal life of tomorrow is experienced today as we step outside the box of earthly limitations and see what God has for eternity—today.

May we allow God’s wisdom to be louder in our thoughts than any other wisdom that desires to take up space.

Today’s answer depends on what we are living free from. Some are living free from God; by faith, some are living free from sin. It is one or the other.

Will we, like Peter, not lean on our understanding of appropriateness, but choose to trust the Lord and acknowledge the Spirit’s leading to be of greater value than our personal convictions?

Freedom comes with great responsibility to protect it. Peter had a choice to make: stand on his knowledge or protect the freedom that comes with the Spirit. In choosing to protect the Spirit’s freedom to live according to God’s plan, Peter had to give up his knowledge.
