This is a mysterious reverse waterfall, it’s call Kavalshet Point, which is locate in Maharashtra near Sinhagad Fort. Due to mysterious and unknown facts, this waterfall moves towards the sky instead of falling. People generally say that this is due to some anti-gravitational force that prevents the flow of water from falling. Although some scientists estimate that this is due to heavy air pressure.

The wild turkey is an upland ground bird native to North America, one of two extant species of turkey, and the heaviest member of the order Galliformes. It is the ancestor to the domestic turkey, which was originally derived from a southern Mexican subspecies of wild turkey.

On 19 March 2021, a volcanic eruption started in the Fagradalsfjall area of the Reykjanes Peninsula. The first eruption here in 800 years, it was in fact ‘due’ and after weeks of earthquakes and intense monitoring by scientists, the main event finally began in the evening on Friday 19 March with a fissure around 500 – 700 metres long opening up releasing red hot lava flows.

This is the final instar caterpillar of a Sunbeam butterfly, just prior to pupation. The caterpillars are remarkable enough for the twin periscopes on their hind ends which containtentacle organs. When threatened, the caterpillar (including at this prepupal stage) telescopes these structures outwards of their sheath in the form of a bouquet of hair-like tentacles which whirl around. This is presumably a defensive mechanism designed to alarm a potential predator, but it is hypothesised that they may also have a volatile secretion dissipation function as well.

The red avadavat, red munia or strawberry finch, is a sparrow-sized bird of the family Estrildidae. It is found in the open fields and grasslands of tropical Asia and is popular as a cage bird due to the colourful plumage of the males in their breeding season.

This little bird lives in a small area on the eastern slope of the Andes in Peru, an area that is not exactly easy for travel. If you want to try to observe the mating dance of the male (we do) you have to get there in the rainy season. This area is difficult enough to get to in the dry season! The Marvelous Spatuletail has a better chance of survival now that the locals have discovered that birders from all over the world are very interested in seeing it. In addition to enduring habitat loss like many other hummingbirds, the male was also hunted by locals. The heart of the male is considered to be an aphrodisiac in the local folklore. Children would entertain themselves knocking them from the air with slingshots. Fortunately, now the locals are fiercely protecting the species, setting aside acreage and planting native flowers that the birds feed on. They have built lodging and are working to create sustainable income for the area. The conservation easement of 100 acres set aside for the Marvelous Spatuletail is the first of its kind in Peru, and the American Bird Conservancy helped provide the needed support for the project.

The Eurasian skylark is a passerine bird in the lark family, Alaudidae. It is a widespread species found across Europe and the Palearctic with introduced populations in New Zealand, Australia and on the Hawaiian Islands.
