Weekly Bible Study Romans Part X
Romans 14 & 15
This week we will study about Unity in the faith at a time when there were differing requirements for some Jew's salvation versus the gentile believers. Who is the "weaker brother" described by Paul, and why does he use the example of eating only vegetables? Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and to Azariah, (Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego) and studying the Bible PRIMARILY as an historical narrative.
We'll discuss the complete nature of the Biblical Canon, and the doctrine for all believers today:
God created the universe and everything in it.
Sin has brought about death.
All of us have sinned and will die.
God offers forgiveness and salvation from death by Jesus Christ if you will believe Him.
Do you believe?
We'll examine so-called "easy-believism", more about circumcision, failed prophecies in the bible and why they fail, the fact that God is a person, and Paul's preaching "to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Weekly Bible Study Romans Part IX
Romans 12 & 13
What is a "living sacrifice?" Are there commands to believers under grace? We'll cover non- conformity & contrarianism, leadership qualities for the family and the church, and Paul's subtext in Romans 12 & 13 for the unbeliever.
Are the gifts Paul discusses for today? And when is it OK to hate? We'll cover hospitality in the age of social media, persecution of our brothers and ourselves, and where exactly is the place where we "give place to wrath?"
Hear about how living peaceably with all men as much as you are able applies to both citizens and rulers. What is the "greater judgment" for masters? And how can believers fulfill the law, apart from observing the law?

Weekly Bible Study Romans Part VIII
Romans 11
Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Predictive versus illustrative prophecy. The election of grace is corporate and not individual. Law, and grace, faith and works and reliance on Christ alone for salvation. Israels "fall", their "casting away", and how Paul refutes replacement theology. The mystery, and Paul's glorification of God's wisdom in revealing it!

Weekly Bible Study Romans Part VII
Romans 10:1-15 - We cover the end of the law for righteousness, (Jesus Christ), the righteousness of the law versus the righteousness of faith, the prophetic program* for Israel from Abraham to the 12 apostles, why Jesus had to die, The Tree of Life, entropy and the eternal nature of creation, defining righteousness, another purpose of the law, the establishment of God's "peculiar" people through which He would bring Messiah, the Body of Christ compared to the Nation of Israel, the setting aside of the prophetic program for a "grace period", (in which we now live), and how God wants us to live today,
*The prophetic program for Israel prophesied by the Old Testament prophets, Jesus, and 12 Apostles starting with Abraham and going to the end of the world, as I understand it, goes like this:
Israel would be a nation of priests (Ex 19:6, Isa 66:21, 1 Pet 2:5-9, Rev 1:6. Rev 5:10). Their Messiah would come through their physical line (Gen 17:17, 28:14, 49:10 - fulfilled in Luk 3:34, 2 Sam 7 12-13 Fulfilled in Mat1:1). Messiah would die for Israel’s sins, (Isa 52 & 53:7 Psa 22), be buried 3 days (Hos 6:2, Mat 12:40) and rise again (Psa 16:10, Psa 22 19-21, Mrk 9:30-32, Mat 17 22-23). He would give them His Holy Spirit, (Isa 32:15, 44:3, Joe 2:28) and send them out to preach His Kingdom to the world (Isa 66:19, Mt 24:14). Their preaching would lead to persecution (Zec 13:9, Mat 24:9) the rise of the Antichrist (Dan 11:36, Mat 24:15) then Messiah’s second coming, (Rev 19: 11-15, Zec 14:16, Mat 24:2) to destroy his enemies at the battle of Armageddon (Zec 14:3, Rev 16:13-16, 19:19), and then to bind Satan and reign over the world from Jerusalem for 1000 years (Mic 4:4, Isa 2:4, Rev 20:6) before finally releasing the devil for one final, short season (Rev 20:7), proving man's inability to overcome sin and death & the devil’s inability to defeat the Lord, & establishing the Lord's authority to finally judge all things. Then the end of this universe (Isa 34:4, Rev 21:1), the Great White Throne Judgment of the lost (Rev 20: 11-15), and the creation of a new heaven and a new earth (Rev 21).

The it's on to the nature of man's relationship to sin before the law, under the law and under grace, Adam as a figure of Christ, (and Paul's tendency to make figures and analogies in new, and hard to understand ways), the purpose and inadequacy of the law, Paul's analogy of sin and the law of marriage, and Christ's separation of man from both the law and sin.

Weekly Bible Study - Jesus on Hell Pt II
Weekly Bible Study - Jesus on Hell Pt II
This week find out:
Who taught the most about Hell? Jesus Christ. Is talking about Hell meant to scare people? Yes! Why is there a Hell? Because in order for God to keep His promises to those who love him regarding eternal life, those who refuse eternal life will have to be kept elsewhere, eternally. Who is going to Hell? Whomever God decides. And will not the judge of all the earth judge rightly? Anyone who will not humble himself and ask God for forgiveness of sin, or for violating one’s own conscience. How long will the lost spend in Hell. Forever. Will all the lost be punished alike? No, the worse will suffer more, possibly at the hands of the others in Hell. Who rules in Hell? No one. Although Jesus decides who goes there. There will be no ruler in Hell, no beer in hell, no drugs in hell.
