How your body's mind (the body-mind) shows you the truth

With so much conflicting information out there, it is hard to know where you stand.
Collectively we are experiencing betrayal.

It is creating a lot of division.
People are pitted against each other.
Your innermost self can even experience conflict as your shadows are being stirred up.
This all feels as if we are going in the wrong direction because the whole point of awakening is coming together rather than being pulled apart..
So that is the bad news.
Here is the good news!
You have your own inbuilt truth detector because your body can’t lie.
It simply doesn’t know how to.
A truthful statement or conversation gives you energy but when your body detects a lie, you lose energy.
It is as simple as that.
Your own body-mind can be of great support to you right now, to give you clarity around what you need to feel good, safe and secure, and healthy.
So in this video, Pete and I are going to show you some exercises to help you regain trust in your body.
This will help you establish your boundaries.
It will help you make informed decisions.

A time to hold witness to the world's metamorphosis
Do you feel impatient for the Great Awakening to be over and done with?
Or for things to go ‘back to normal?”
Tonight I want to focus on your role as a witness to the shift that is happening.
There is an inspiring story about a monk who is going to a village when there are problems.
All he does is sit on a hilltop overlooking the village, just observing.
At the end of the day the problems are resolved, everyone feels better and the monk goes back home.
There is enormous potential for healing and awakening in this time as long as we stay connected to our centre and dont get caught up in fear and uncertainty.
We don’t need to change anything, fight, or resist.
I want to tell you the story of how a grub turns into a beautiful butterfly.
I researched it today and was surprised at the gruesomeness of that process.
As soon as the caterpillar has outgrown its skin, a hormone is released, which tells the larva to shed its skin.
Then it starts to hang upside down from a twig or leave and spins itself a cocoon.
This process is driven by the same hormone.
Without this hormone, metamorphosis doesn’t happen.
It’s a bit like us.
We don’t like getting triggered. We love to stay inside our comfort zone, but Covid 19 forced us into lockdown.
Mother Earth sent us all to go into our bedrooms like naughty kids, so we can have a good hard look at our lives.
Like a caterpillar that’s been forced into the cocoon.
Because we have outgrown our old structures, they are not serving us any longer.
We have outgrown our old ways of thinking and being.
What happens next inside the cocoon is incredible: the caterpillar’s body is turned into goo.
Muscles and gut cells are digested and kept for spare parts for the soon to be butterfly.
Each cell is programmed to self destruct by an enzyme.
I wonder how the grub must feel when its entire existence has gone to soup.
It’s only option is to surrender and trust in the plan!
We too need to remember that the Universe has it all under control.
We have to be prepared to let some things die.
Things that don’t serve us any longer.
They are different things for each of us. But if we hang onto old ways of being and thinking, we won’t be able to soar to the skies later.
Our very existence depends on our ability to trust, in Divine timing, divine intervention, and trust in our inner navigating system to keep it on track.
The entire caterpillar has to disintegrate except for its discs before the wings, legs, and eyes are formed, turning the grub into a butterfly.
And then there is the final struggle to free itself from its surroundings, the cocoon.
This is hard work, but this stage can’t be skipped.
The struggle helps the fluid get into the wings.
After it comes out, it has to sit there for a while and rest.
Then it starts to flap its wings for a bit.
All this struggle and flapping actually increases the butterfly's ability to fly.
Let me ask you, where are you at inside the big change that is happening?
Now is not the time to give up, or give in to fear.
I feel that right now, planet earth and its inhabitants are morphing into something totally new and beautiful.
Into new space, where we easily remember our soul purpose, and each person has his or her own personal experience of their divinity.
A world where we can come together, united, no more wars, no prejudices, no famine, no homelessness...
But we are not there yet.
Right now we are simply at different stages of development, but one thing is for sure, we are all on the same journey and we are all fully supported by the Divine or by Infinite Intelligence.
Trust in the process of 'growing wings'.
Together we will rise, not at the expense of another, but with love for all.

Fear is MORE contagious
Fear is more contagious than any virus and it drags your immune system down and robs you of your joy.
Fear mostly begins in our head, so the answer to fear is to connect with your heart like I am showing you in this video.
Your heart is like a superconductor of divine universal energy and according to scientists, there is nothing that this divine energy can't heal.
Love is stronger than fear, or evil.
Going into your heart changes your reality and brings you into alignment with your higher self.
Fear lets us be overtaken by outside powers.
We start selling ourselves out to so-called experts.
Yet the most powerful source of healing is already inside us, creating a completely new body for us every 12 months or so.
If you don't believe me think of how a cut heals overnight, your nails and hair keep growing without you having to think about it, and every night your body keeps on breathing and living while your brain is on a holiday.
We are healing all day long and everyone is on their own healing journey.
To me, healing is far bigger than getting rid of aches and pains.
Healing is remembering who we truly are.
We are sacred beings
We are of divine worth
We are spirit in form or spirit in a body, radiating love and wisdom, depending on your level of maturity.
Our immune system is trustworthy.
It follows a divine blueprint.
Healing means having confidence in our bodies and also in the Divine Source.
Healing means being open to support from the Universe so that when we run out of resources and we ask for help, our tanks can be filled again and miracles unfold.
I am a sovereign being and I do not consent to anything that takes away my dignity or makes me lose respect for myself.
What it means to heal is reclaiming our power.
Reclaiming the power that past traumas took from us, experiences of neglect, abuse, injury or hurt.
When our power has been taken from us, we are stripped from dignity.
The dignity that says I am worthy of honour and respect, just as I am…
I am a celebration of life.
You don’t have to earn this honour and respect, it is your birthright.
I deserve to be worthy just as I am.
When you have dignity, you do not treat yourself as a lesser human.
You think about what you put in your body, or who you hang out with or the choices that you make minute by minute.
So here is a prayer or a request for all of us who need healing.
I copied it from Dr. Christiana Northrup, a well known Medical doctor and health advocate who specializes in women's health.
This request opens you up to the flow of Divine love and helps to heal our injured planet and humanity as it is right now.
Start by putting your hands together and repeat this request out loud:
"With my spirit and the help of the loving angels and other invisible helpers of the light, I focus and open up the flow of divine love throughout my system.
I acknowledge this global pandemic and the players who have created it.
I ask our higher selves, our hearts, our divine power now to dissolve anything and everything that is not in the highest purpose for humanity and our earth, to flourish and become healthy beyond anything we can possibly imagine.
And I ask this with Divine love, according to the Creator's will."
Now breathe this request into your cells and breathe out forcefully.
Then you can repeat this a few times and sit very still.
As you become silent for a few minutes, you will notice the Divine energy permeate every part of your body, healing you from shame, blame, inadequacy, and restoring your dignity and self-worth.
It seems like such a small request, but the healing effects are huge.

How do you stay safe and sane during this time of change and uncertainty?
Many clients have asked me to help them overcome unwanted thoughts to get out of cycles of fear and worry.
If you relate to that, watch this video.
I'm going to show you that you actually have 2 minds and each one needs to be addressed differently for you to thrive.
Right now, collectively we are going through a portal of spiritual awakening.
Once we step through we can start to enjoy a consistent state of inner peace but we're not there yet.
Most of us experience worry and fear because there's a disconnect between our Conscious and Subconscious minds.
Our conscious mind is the realm of thoughts and makes up about 5% of us.
It’s behind the steering wheel of the car.
The subconscious mind represents the vehicle. It mostly obeys the conscious mind and is the realm of feelings, our 5 senses, memories and runs our body.
It makes up around 95% of our being.
The problem is we've learned all about our conscious mind, to follow science and to be rational.
We are completely left in the cold when it comes to relating to the other 95% of us.
Let’s address the thinking mind first.
Our thinking mind mostly lies to us! Yes this might come as a shock, but it really doesn’t care much about truth.
This mind, also called our separate mind, is addicted to never feeling good enough and loves to feed us negative fearful thoughts.
This mind tends to rob you of your joy, confidence and life force.
Here's how you can stop it and breakthrough this pattern:
1) Think of a negative thought. "I will run out of money soon and I won’t be able to pay my bills." "I will catch the virus, infect my elderly parents and then they might die."
You'll notice your energy drop as soon as you think like that.
Thankfully we can only think one thought at the time, so here comes step two:
2) Ask yourself: "What if this isn’t true” or "How do I know this is intrinsically true?”
You can use this question to counteract any negative thought. You'll notice a calmness in your body when you do this repeatedly.
The truth is your mind is playing cat and mouse with you!
Stop buying your own lies and give your mind something else to occupy itself with.
Another important thing to remember is that your thoughts are not created by you.
They are simply picked up by your satellite dish, your brain.
Your brain tunes into all sorts of thought streams and influences.
It's up to you which thoughts to tune into or tune out to.
You're in charge of your thoughts. You are not a victim of your thoughts, but it might feel like that sometimes.
You have the power to take control of your thinking by dialling into a frequency of uplifting thoughts.
3) Don’t listen to mainstream news. It’s mostly misinformation and it will contaminate your thinking. Listen to a podcast or music instead.
4) Say out loud: Not that thought! and wipe the screen of your mind clean with a mental windscreen wiper.
All these practices are simple to do and also simple to ignore.
However, just like you wash your clothes and shower every day its even more important to put your thinking brain through the laundry.
When it comes to your subconscious mind, the other 95% of you, it gets tricky.
All our traumatic experiences and emotional suppression are stored here.
Our subconscious mind, which is really the driving force behind the scenes, is also the same as our immune system.
We all want a strong immune system yet we don’t receive any education about how to keep it strong.
Our subconscious mind has the mindset of a 7-year-old child.
If your inner child feels ignored, neglected, forgotten or unsafe, chances are that your health starts to break down, you have frequent accidents, mysterious aches and pains or chronic high-stress levels.
To boost your immune system start paying attention to what you feel and take notice of how you talk to yourself all day long.
What feelings, images, or body sensations are coming up for you?
When it comes to your feelings: what you resist persists.
If you have sadness and you're in denial of the hurt/sadness, it's going to come back and bite you.
You won’t be able to get out of bed, you might get hay fever, you feel flat and dull or lack motivation. You might even get pneumonia because sadness is expressed through the lungs.
To release sadness try watching a tear-jerker. Write in a journal and let the tears flow, or sing or dance. Move it through your body so it can be released.
Blame/shame is another big one. These emotions have a vibrational energy that are close to the frequency of dying.
They really lower our energy.
That’s why blaming and shaming are so hurtful.
If you have a constant heavy feeling in your body it's most likely shame.
Watch this video to release those emotions from your body so you become calm, centred and strong.

2. Drink a lot more water (making sure it is filtered).
Dehydration is the number 1 stress.
Have you ever noticed how much more calm, clear and sane you feel after you drink a few glasses of water?
3. Meditation is a great stress eliminator.
Start off with 5 minutes a day and build up 5 minutes every day to the point you do at least 30 minutes a day.
There was a study at Harvard University that showed students who meditated 27 minutes daily not only performed so much better, they were also calmer, less stressed, and had more joy.
27 minutes was the magical number!

Are you turning your stress and dehydration into a cancer challenge?
According to statistics one in three of us will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in our lives..
This is a sobering thought but let’s not get hypnotised by these fearful statistics and take a look at what cancer cells feed on instead.
Armed with this information we can strike cancer cells a fatal blow below the belt and improve your odds of returning to a vibrant life.
1) Cancer cells love sugar and starches.
When you avoid sugar (including fruits) and starches (potatoes, rice, pasta, bread) you cut off the food supply to the cancer cells.
2) Milk is mucous producing and cancer thrives on mucous.
By cutting out milk or substituting it for coconut or almond milk you deal cancer cells a blow.
3) Cancer cells thrive when your pH is out of whack.
This can mean that you are either too acidic or too alkaline.
Lack of minerals and too much refined food/ sugar/ fruits/ will destabilize your pH.

Could Salt deficiency be the cause of all your problems?
The cause of about 65% of health problems is dehydration (a salt and water deficiency). When the dehydration is corrected, many so-called incurable illnesses are greatly improved.
A few are asthma, allergies, chronic fatigue, depression, arthritis, anxiety, obesity, M.S., cancer, Lupus, etc
High blood pressure is primarily the result of a dehydrated body. The body has to elevate the pressure in order to see that every cell gets enough blood, which is 94% water.
Mineral deficiency can also cause people to be salt sensitive and raise the blood pressure.
Heart disease is similar.
High Cholesterol is the result of a dehydrated body needing more cholesterol to seal the water in the cells, to minimize water loss.
Asthma is a problem produced in a dehydrated person when the brain deliberately constricts the bronchials in order to prevent water loss.

What are we doing with all the extra years of our life expectancy?
In 1600, people didn't expect to live past 30 years old.
In 2012 the average American was expected to live to 79.
What are we doing with all those extra years?
Do you sometimes feel that you are not really fulfilling your purpose?

In order to heal (any aspect of yourself), you need to remember that you are not just your body.
There was a time when mainstream healthcare didn’t recognize any connection between your body, mind, and spirit.

Our body is a physical manifestation of our spirit or soul.

The state of our mind is also very important.
Our minds, attitude, and emotions profoundly affect our health and healing.
Our mind is tricky. It can turn our life force off or one by one the thoughts that run through it.
We can be lying on the couch with a broken leg and a lot of pain, feeling totally wrecked and hopeless.
Suddenly there is a knock on the door.. you reluctantly limp to the door, moaning the whole way, open it and then you are presented with a check for a million dollars because you won the lottery.
Suddenly you are able to jump up and down on your broken leg without feeling any pain at all!
Can you relate to this?
But the most important aspect of healing our body is connecting with and opening to our spirit.
When we connect with our spirit we can change anything.
We feel at home in our bodies, but our spirit is our natural condition.
We think we are flesh and blood, but spirit is our natural normal state.
The flow of our spirit or life force through our body is dependant on the electrochemical soup of the body and this 'soup' is the sum total of our circumstances, relationships, diet, sleep or lack of it, our perspective on life, and other influences.
Our body is like a musical instrument.
When it is healthy it is in tune, and when we are sick we are out of tune
An orchestra tunes itself to the frequency or to the note of A 440 before every performance.
The note is played by the oboist and the rest of the orchestra tunes their instruments to match it.
The oboe is the least affected by moisture and other weather conditions.
Our spiritual essence is the least affected by the chemical soup and electrical vibrations of our human body and our circumstances.
To get into perfect health, the perfect pitch we must turn ourselves to the frequency of the infinite spirit of life which runs through our body.
Life is often hectic, difficult, not ideal. But we can tune in little by little day by day, get onto the right pitch and gradually our level of wellness and happiness improves.
We don't get triggered so easy anymore.
We have energy to spare. We feel more patient and compassionate.
We can heal our body easier.
We don't get sick as often.
We start to feel radiant.
All by tuning into to our life force/our spirit/our essence, which is open to everyone.
Simply follow tonight's practice and keep repeating it every day, and watch the changes in yourself.

We all need a little REST
Today, I want to give you a mini-RES(E)T, a REST.
I was inspired by my washing machine.
Did I ever tell you my washing machine does this funny thing where it throws a wobbly and it will not stop unless I turn it off at the Powerpoint?
As I walk away, it keeps on beeping for half a minute or so.
I don’t even know how this is possible, but I think the Universe makes it happen to let me know I am the washing machine and I need to unplug myself…..
I need a mini rest… a few minutes of silence….
Of going inwards…of connecting with my inner core self….
I had a client recently and she gave me wonderful feedback.
During her session with me, she really connected with her true-est self.
Since then she has been feeling so peaceful and calm as if nothing can ruffle her.
Isn’t it funny that we have been so conditioned that we don’t really ever touch base with ourselves, only in random moments?
That we can live our whole lives without connecting to our innermost selves?
For those of you who don’t know my story, I had a near-death experience in 2006, when I got hit by a passing truck.
However, it wasn’t my time.
There were things I learnt while I was out of my body.
I felt so calm and peaceful.
I realized that nothing about me had to change, that I was perfect the way I was.
There was nothing to fear.
Nothing to adjust.
That all the artificial learning and ‘modifying of self’ was more of a burden, rather than a spiritual help.
Before my NDE I was trying to always be better do better, learn more, redeem myself as if there was something wrong with me….
I was struggling and striving so hard…
I wanted people to give me a process to reach enlightenment,
I wanted people to give me the how to's
I would research
I would read all the spiritual books, meditate more, pray more
I was beating myself up for not getting the truth
And, when I would go to courses, workshops, or church meetings I always judged myself harshly.
When I had the NDE, it was like a giant let go from everything that
I was conditioned to believe.
I realized that my soul's biggest need was liberation, and rest from all that activity and striving.
My soul knew that ultimate freedom had nothing to do with doing this or following that, it just had to be itself.
Being yourself is easier said than done!
We have to kind of reverse engineer it.
These questions will help you get in touch with your real self, they are like a bit of a wake-up call.

When your throat chakra is strong, you will be able to speak your mind openly and freely whenever you want to.
Or even if your truth is inconvenient or unpopular.
It doesn’t mean that you are not nervous about speaking out, but that you can expertly manage those nerves to deliver your message.
You are recognised for your strong leadership skills.
When your throat chakra is weak or closed, you will almost feel that there is a physical barrier stopping you when you want to speak out.
Even the thought of speaking out can create a barrier in your throat, because you are frightened and filled with self-doubt.
The throat chakra gets blocked by lies.
Lies that we tell ourselves, hidden lies we grew up with, lies that we tell others.
To move more quickly towards the rich and fulfilling life you deserve, you need to strip back the masks you are hiding behind.
There are many ways that a blocked throat chakra can show itself in your financial life.

1. I did not charge or ask for what I am worth.
2. I did not speak up when it could cause conflict.
3. I let my fear stop me from what my heart was calling me to do.

Calm the Inner Critic
How can you stop the critic, the little monkey on your shoulder?
You know the one that jibbers in your ear from the moment you wake up, till you fall asleep.
Wouldn’t life be wonderful if you could have peace and quiet between your ears?
Imagine that… complete absence from the running commentator in your body…
Don’t get me wrong.. we all have one.
Even Pete, who is very calm and quiet.
Just because Pete doesn’t waste any words, doesn’t mean he doesn’t have an inner critic running the show.
One of the most liberating moments in my life, was when I had an NDE
Unfortunately, I had just been struck down by a truck, which left me shattered and half dead, it wasn’t pretty.
But the impact was so huge, that I left my body.
I literally left my nervous system. I split off from it.
As a result, I ended up in a space of unconditional love and support, with a complete and utter absence of judgment.
Thankfully for my body, my nervous system got a break as well.
A circuit break.
I believe, this gave me the energy to make a comeback at top speed, and make a complete recovery from a point of no return.
So today I want to unpack that judgy feeling and voice that we carry around.
How can we unplug from it, without having to be nearly killed first?
I mean, even my washing machine responds to me pulling the plug out, every now and then.
When it starts squealing and beeping, I know if have to give it a moments rest, away from the socket.
My computer will respond the same.
So let's see if we can give our hardworking nervous system a chance to RESET.
We live in a world that is filled with judgment. There are opinions about everything.
We get bombarded from the inside as well as the outside.
Judgment comes from our human nervous system.
Our soul has discernment (which is different from judgment)
It is very wise.
But judgment will often override our discernment or our intuition.
We give certain ppl the benefit of the doubts, even if our soul says no.
Have you ever done that?
So how do I be in my aligned with my intuition, how do I know what is good for me, without judging?
We can get to this place, you know.
We can unwind the process of judgment.
Judgment is often to do with getting it right.
At some point, some of our ancestors probably had to get something right, because getting it wrong might have caused them to die.
These cell memories are still active.
Second, is fear of our own shadows, for instance appearing stupid.
We think we are stupid. We have heard that a million times since we were babies.
Well, I am here to tell you that you are totally fine getting it wrong and being stupid.
Being stupid is great.
You are entitled to have your own set of rules.
Sometimes being stupid is the smartest thing you can do.
Just giving yourself permission to be totally stupid and to not know anything.
When the judgy voice in between your ears starts up, just answer everything with: I don’t knoooooow” and make it sound really stupid.
After a while, your nervous system will start to believe that being stupid and not knowing anything is the new me! It starts to be OK with it.
So this is one mental game you can do.
You are tricking your own ego-mind, by feeding it some of its own tricks!
This will give your nervous system a much-needed reprieve!

Your Money DNA: it isn’t your fault
Over the last 20 years of working with clients, I have found that people don’t like talking about money.
It makes them too uncomfortable.
For most people it is harder to have and honest conversation about money than it is to talk about sex or childhood trauma.
We are all ‘knotted up’ about money.
To us, money represents so much more than dollars and cents.
It is tied up to our deepest emotional needs for love, power, security, control, independence and self-worth.
It’s impossible to be an adult and not have some deep-seated beliefs about money and the way that it fits into our lives
Most people never questions their beliefs so their fortunes never change.
Our beliefs are not based on science or truth, they are simply stories repeated like a mantra.
These crippling beliefs about money don’t just show up in finances, they also shows up in our personal relationships
Take the belief of ‘I am unworthy’ for instance. You see straight away what I mean.
Unworthiness isn’t confined to cash.
It shows up in deep nurturing relationships.
Unworthiness creates doubts about being truly loved.
Uncertainty impacts negatively in the relationship which struggles or even fails.
It also shows up in happiness.
The belief once again creates doubt about whether happiness is OK, or do you have guilt that other may not be happy or even shame because we didn’t earn it.
That means that happiness is always tinged with uncertainty. When you think about it isn’t really happiness.
All we have talked about is unworthiness. There is a million of these old crack pot ideas.
Money is the root of all evil.
The rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
I could go on forever
What we need to do is track down these beliefs, dig them out of the hidy holes and strangle them.
What we need to do is heal them. Healing is acknowledging that some damage has been done and we need to feel it to heal it.
Because what you resist, persists.

How shadow work is deeply healing
Shadow work is not only deeply healing, it also helps us to look at ourselves and others with less judgment.
We are often on the lookout for traits that bother us the most in others
and when we see or notice those traits, we are triggered and challenged.
This is what we are seeing all around us on a global scale right now.
Trump is seen as a 'bully and a dictator'.
We never want to be labelled a bully or dictator, so we can’t see beyond this quality to acknowledge anything else he has done.
Biden is a cheater who cheated his way to the top. He is also losing his marbles…..
And none of us want to be seen as a cheat or crazy, so we get stuck in our irritation, unable to see the big picture.
Admittedly, dark shadows are hugely challenging.
And this makes shadow work so valuable!
Because every time we are triggered, we can stop and check-in with ourselves.
What’s going on for us right now?
Using the ‘bully’ as an example, you might have been hurt in the past by a bully. Or you might have been punished for being a bully at some time.
Either way, the ‘bully’ caused you pain.
And made you fearful of being unlovable, not belonging, rejected, or excluded, and abandoned.
These are some of our core fears.
So the bully inside of you went into hiding.
Little did we know that by rejecting our dark traits, we deprived ourselves of hidden strengths.
A bully gets things done for instance. People sit up and take notice of a bully. Might that come in handy sometimes? Yes!
By doing shadow work we can reclaim our wholeness and our divinity.
We feel lighter, and more relaxed, because our nervous system stops being triggered.
We feel more confident, compassionate, and resilient because we have access to new strengths that had been locked up before.
So let's dive right in now and watch the video below.

Some shadows that you might work on tonight are lazy, selfish, needy, competitive, cheating, bully, demanding, arrogant, rude, ignorant, dumb, messy, loud, show off, aggressive, loudmouth, coward, unreliable, heartless. Etc etc.

Money mini series : #3 Solar Plexus
We need our solar plexus to shine and to be healthy and wealthy!
Our solar plexus chakra is the home of our ego and our ego is often vilified.
Hence the solar plexus houses many of our darkest shadows.
Shadows are parts of ourselves that we rejected since birth, because we wanted to be loved and taken care of.
But the trouble with shadows is that when it remains buried and unclaimed, it keeps popping up at the most inconvenient times.
The purpose of our journey through life is to integrate and love all parts of ourselves, the good, bad and ugly, so the energy starts to flow and we can uplevel our health and wealth.
One of the solar plexus shadows is 'selfish'
Many of my clients need to be shown how to be a little bit more selfish. The gift of selfishness is that you can take good care of yourself, so you can give and nurture from a place of abundance and empowerment, rather than depletion.
Think of the mum on a plane. If she wants to safe her child, she has to put the oxygen mask on herself first, so she can help others.
Just take a moment to feel into your solar plexus and into the healthy aspect of selfishness.
The solar plexus chakra comes before the heart chakra.
I have seen many women with breast cancer who were taking care of everyone else, but couldn't nurture themselves or could not receive nurturing or loving attention.
Cancer is a proliferation of energy, with not enough energy in the solar plexus and too much bottled up in the heart.
Another really great shadow to love in yourself is the shadow of being mean.
The gift of meanness is being able to stand up for yourself.
It is tied to your ability to say no and to say yes, at the appropriate times and to stand up for yourself or for something you believe in.
If you ever feel that somebody or a situation has power over you, your solar plexus chakra needs healing.
This chakra is your goer energy.
Your ego is an essential part of your spiritual awakening.
Here are some signs that your ego is at home and comfortable in your being.
- you can laugh at yourself. You can let things go sometimes
- You can allow yourself to make mistakes and you accept yourself with love and compassion
- you value your own opinion and perspective.
- you have a strong sense of self and you can take feedback from that place
- you accept others opinion as their opinion, not as a personal threat
- you can accept and appreciate all aspects of yourself, and all the things that make you more human.
- you are willing to take calculated risks. You aren't always playing it safe - you want some excitement.
- you have boundaries and don't accept it when others overstep your boundaries. There is a clean clear no in a nonreactive way.
- you are humbled in the knowledge that we are all divine, we are all equal, we are interconnectedness.
- Your world doesn't crumble if you lose your accomplishments, because your ultimate identity is linked with your true self, your spirit.
These are some of the solar plexus issues that we need to know about and work with if we want money to flow to us in a fun and easy way.

The sacral chakra, and the effect it has on your money flow
If you are struggling with money pain, and want to change that, you need to deal with your chakra system.
Last week I did a video on the base chakra, which holds the keys to financial stability.
Today I am teaching you about the sacral chakra, and the effect it has on your money flow.
8 out of 10 women suffer from money stress and overwhelm.
And there is a wave of women my age, who are sleeping on the streets or have to couch surf, because they didn’t plan for their retirement.
They didn’t plan because they gave and gave to their families, and now they are left destitute.
Your sacral chakra is dominated by the water element, and if the energy is too open there, you will leak money in all directions, and you won’t be able to build wealth.
If its too blocked, you won’t receive the income or money you deserve, because this is the centre of receiving as well.
Symptoms of sacral chakra imbalance are guilt, conflict, rigidity, inability to save money consistently, or the opposite: saving money at all cost and not allowing yourself to enjoy money, not being in a career or job that fulfills you.
The interesting thing is that the emotion of blame and guilt is often deeply buried inside the sacral chakra, which also houses your sexual organs.

39 years of wedded bliss.... how did we do it?
39 years of wedded bliss! Just kidding…
We want to share some of these things we wished we had known 40, 30 or 20 years ago:
1. The glue that keeps everything together in a relationship as well as business is….Humanity!
By that we mean that at the end of the day we're all human, trying to do our best.
Brene Brown did a famous study on shame and vulnerability.
According to Brene, shame and vulnerability is the glue that connects us as communities and families.

Always give yourself permission to be authentic. You are loved for your essence.
Your spouse didn’t choose you because they want you to be perfect, sexy, funny or composed all the time.
You are uniquely lovable because of your flaws as much as your gifts.
Your kids need to see your ugly sides as much as your beautiful sides.
They need to see your tears, your fears and misgivings, your hopes, your disappointments and your heartbreaks.
That gives them permission to be human as well.
2. Dream big. The more challenging or despairingly difficult your life is, the bigger your dreams need to be.
Your dreams need to be so big that they feel completely unrealistic, like moving Mount Everest with a garden fork.
Your dreams and visions for your life need to overarch any of your circumstances, almost like a pyramid structure.
You know how the energy inside the pyramid preserves the material inside it… well, that is how your dreams preserve you in likewise manner.
When your dream or mission is much bigger than you can possibly handle yourself, the universe steps in to help you and magic starts to unfold.
You suddenly get energy from somewhere, ideas flood in and help arrives from unexpected corners.
This takes a bit of faith, but believe me, it worked for us and it will for you too.
3. Live every day as if it is your last. When you are deciding what to wear, or where to eat, or whether to call your friend or not, ask yourself what you would do if today was your last day.
4. Paradoxically, plan every day as if you have another 50 years up your sleeve.
For instance, I am 58, and I could quite realistically live till I am 95.
That means I am only halfway through my adult life.
If I am going to live another 40 years, I’d better make sure I drink enough water today, eat well, have my life enhancing supplements and take my iodine.
Every year we have a new body, so that means I still have another 40 bodies in me.
I love a glass of wine occasionally. But last year I noticed that occasionally was turning into every night, and then one glass became two.
So I decided to stop, because I plan to look after my marbles and liver as best as I can.
However, if I knew that I only had tonight to live, I would crack open a bottle of champagne right now and enjoy it with Pete and kids. See the wisdom here?
5. Never stop growing and evolving.
Every day I ask myself: what am I not seeing here… is there anything I am missing in this situation, & if I could see it, it would change/improve my life dramatically?
This is a good question for all aspects of your life, business, love-life, your health and your personal development.
Some other great questions to ask yourself every day are: How can I grow? It is natural to grow. Trees never stop growing. If they do, it’s a sign they have died on the inside.
Pete and I are actively planning to remain modern elders at work.
We want to keep working, because it fuels our passions and fills our tanks and we have so much to give and receive.
Some other questions are: what can I give?
And remind yourself everyday: what can I celebrate?
You are special and every moment you walk this earth is a special moment, whether you realise it or not.
6. Stop worrying what others think about you.
Pete and I have a ritual where we look each other in the eye and repeat the words: “I don’t give an ‘f’ what you think about me!”
We normally don’t swear, so this statement really shakes up our nervous system and the message reverberates into our cells nice and deep.
We have wasted too many years stifling each other, worrying and thinking what the other would think or how much they would or wouldn’t want us to do something so we really enjoy this newfound sense of freedom.
I am accountable to myself and I expect Peter to be the same.
7. Love yourself unconditionally first and all the rest falls into place.
Actually, the commitment to loving yourself unconditionally is the bedrock for success.
We want you to know that loving yourself unconditionally needs to be the first thing you learn and need to commit to.
For instance Pete is much easier to love and be around when he is loving himself than when he is being hard on himself....
... and the same goes for me. Fill your own tanks first.
Whatever arises for you and inside you, heal it with a homeopathic drop of self love (it is free) and watch your life take a dramatic turn for the better!
