Red Heifer Prophecy Update: 3/28/2024 Shabbat Parah / שַׁבָּת פּרה Shabbat of the Red Heifer Shabbat Parah for Hebrew Year 5784 begins at sundown on Friday, 29 March 2024 and ends at nightfall on Saturday, 30 March 2024. This corresponds to Parashat Tzav. Shabbat Parah (“Sabbath [of the] red heifer” שבת פרה) takes place on the Shabbat before Shabbat HaChodesh, in preparation for Passover. Numbers 19:1-22 describes the parah adumah (“red heifer”) in the Jewish temple as part of the manner in which the kohanim and the Jewish people purified themselves so that they would be ready (“pure”) to sacrifice the korban Pesach. As I discussed last week, there was "a practice run of the purification ceremony" in 2023. But an official ceremony must be conducted before the heifers get too old to be used for such a sacrifice. Why is this important to us? The Muslims can not allow this sacrifice to occur. It would allow the Lord Jesus (Son of God) to come back through the east gate on the temple mount and desecrate the Muslim site which has the Al-Asqa Mosque on it. The place where the Muslims believe Muhammad placed his feet on the ground prior to decending to heaven. This would desecrate the Al-Asqa Mosque and this holy site of the Muslims. The Muslims will not allow this to happen. The Muslims will do anything to stop this ceremony. The ceremony has to occur on March 30, 2024. You have the Last Muslim Prayer Session on March 29, 2024. Daniel 8 Update: 3/23/2024 Erdoğan signals ‘final’ offensive against PKK (Kurds-Medes) terrorists in Syria, Iraq. This invasion by Turkey will compress the whole middle east. It will create a massive refugee flow from the Kurds-Medes toward Iraq and Iran from Syria which will be the most effected area to start. Turkey will invade both Iraq and Syria, with emphasis on Syria against the Kurds-Medes. We can follow the same path as Alexander the Great when he conquered and controlled the whole middle east including Iran-Persia. The Kurds-Medes will collapse toward Erbil, Iraq after Turkey crushes them in his 1st offense. Turkey will allow they to retreat to Iraq as he moves down through Syria and Lebanon to Tyre, Lebanon. Middle East Update: 3/22/2024 Police boost Jerusalem security ahead of second Friday of Ramadan. JERUSALEM -- Israel security officials are gearing up in Jerusalem with an increased police presence ahead of the second Friday of Ramadan. Friday morning prayers on the Temple Mount during Ramadan are especially large and Palestinian terror attacks have surged during the Islamic holy month. Police said they are particularly monitoring Arab social media networks for incitement and fake news. The police added there is no truth to posts claiming Israel intends to block the entrance to the holy site or place restrictions on worshippers. Hamas has been calling on Palestinians to confront police at the holy site. The Temple Mount, where the First and Second Jewish Temples were built, is the overall holiest site in Judaism. The Western Wall is the only remnant of a retaining wall encircling the Temple Mount built by Herod the Great in the first century and is the holiest site where Jews can freely pray. Turkish President Erdoğan plans mass military operation in Iraq, Syria against PKK. Turkish President Erdoğan plans to launch a mass military operation in Iraq and Syria against PKK and YPG after local elections. Erdoğan is also expected to make his first visit to Baghdad and Erbil as president, according to the online news outlet T24. The Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) have been preparing for a comprehensive operation against the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and People's Defense Units (YPG) in northern Iraq and Syria after the local elections on March 31, according to the reporting of the T24. Market update: 3/12/2024 Consumer prices rose 0.4% in February and 3.2% from a year ago. Inflation rose again in February, keeping the Federal Reserve on course to wait at least until the summer before starting to lower interest rates. The consumer price index, a broad measure of goods and services costs, increased 0.4% for the month and 3.2% from a year ago, the Labor Department’s Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Tuesday. Market Update: 3/11/2024 Emergency Fed bank effort ends lending, as eyes turn to discount window. March 11 (Reuters) - A Federal Reserve facility launched in haste a year ago amid the heavy stress triggered by Silicon Valley Bank's collapse closes for new business on Monday, amid evidence it helped turn the tide of trouble that risked derailing the economy and upending the central bank’s efforts to lower inflation. A year after the Bank Term Funding Program was unveiled on a Sunday afternoon -- when regulators feared a systemwide bank run might unfold the next day -- deposits have stabilized, bank loan books overall are growing, no bank of meaningful size has failed in 10 months, and the Fed was not forced to change its monetary policy footing. The program “certainly worked” given the rebound of the banking sector, said Steven Kelly, associate director of research at the Yale School of Management's Program on Financial Stability. But the sunset of new lending at the BTFP is raising questions about how the central bank will respond to the inevitable return one day of banking trouble. Kelly and others think the Fed would not want to go down this route again if it could avoid it. That’s bringing fresh attention to the Fed's discount window, its long-running and often shunned bank lending facility, seen as the lender of last resort. The BTFP tackled a liquidity crunch after the world's first social media-induced bank run put SVB out of business in a matter of days, with a clutch of other banks failing in its wake. To ensure deposit-taking banks could get the money they needed, the BTFP offered loans on eligible collateral without the penalties usually imposed by Fed emergency lending, doing so on relatively cheap terms. That configuration generated large amounts of borrowing even when the most acute phase of the crisis was in the rear view mirror. Jumps in borrowing at the discount window last spring quickly abated to normal levels while BTFP borrowing ground ever higher as banks appeared to be exploiting its low rate relative to other sources of short-term funding. In late January the Fed shut down that arbitrage play, and new loans have all but dried up since, with the facility's credit outstanding holding at around the $160 billion mark. What Is Purim? The jolly Jewish holiday of Purim is celebrated every year on the 14th of the Hebrew month of Adar (late winter/early spring). Purim 2024 begins on Saturday night, March 23 and continues through Sunday, March 24 (extending through Monday in Jerusalem). It commemorates the (Divinely orchestrated) salvation of the Jewish people in the ancient Persian empire from Haman’s plot “to destroy, kill and annihilate all the Jews, young and old, infants and women, in a single day.” Literally “lots” in ancient Persian, Purim was thus named since Haman had thrown lots to determine when he would carry out his diabolical scheme, as recorded in the Megillah (book of Esther). What is the Purim story in a nutshell? The Persian Empire of the 4th century BCE extended over 127 lands, and all the Jews were its subjects. When King Ahasuerus had his wife, Queen Vashti, executed for failing to follow his orders, he arranged a beauty pageant to find a new queen. A Jewish girl, Esther, found favor in his eyes and became the new queen, though she refused to divulge her nationality. Meanwhile, the Jew-hating Haman was appointed prime minister of the empire. Mordechai, the leader of the Jews (and Esther’s cousin), defied the king’s orders and refused to bow to Haman. Middle East Update: 3/4/2024 JERUSALEM, Israel – Fighting between Hezbollah and Israel intensified yet again on Thursday with fears of a wider war in the near future. That conflict may include Iranian-backed forces in Syria and Iraq. The Syrian government accused Israel of major attacks in and around Damascus Wednesday. One building reportedly served as the headquarters of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard in southern Damascus. Israel also attacked a number of Hezbollah installations in southern Lebanon. Iran announced it has given the green light to its proxy to escalate the fighting in the north. CNN reports the Biden administration is concerned Israel is preparing for war with Hezbollah in late spring or early summer if diplomatic efforts to reach a settlement fail. Middle East Update: Hezbollah - 2/24/2024 IDF strikes in Lebanon as Hezbollah rockets rain on Israel's North. Sirens sounded in Arab el Aramsha, Hanita, Har Dov, and the northern city of Kiryat Shmona on Saturday afternoon in another day of Hezbollah rocket fire threatening Israel's North. The Israeli army on Saturday said it bombed Hezbollah targets in four different areas in southern Lebanon, Anadolu reports. “During the night, warplanes attacked launch positions and infrastructures of the Hezbollah terrorist organization in the Jabal Blat area,” an Israeli army statement said. The Israel-Lebanon border is on the boil amid a ferocious fight between Hezbollah and the IDF. The Lebanese group launched a total of 13 back-to-back attacks on IDF positions. Hezbollah mainly used Katyusha missiles to hit the Israeli defence forces' targets. For the first time, Hezbollah also targeted the Matzuva settlement near the border.
