Something is wrong in America. What ails us is a complete lack of trust in our Federal government by average Americans. In the declaration of independence our founders chose to actively separate from their government and create a new one. Like me, I think most Americans reject that notion but are actively calling for a re-institution of the constitutional government the founders designed in the Constitution. Our current separation is caused by the government’s power being so great that it does not follow that constitution. What can or should we do? My. In a vote of 66-33, The Senate broke the final filibuster on the $95.3 billion Ukraine foreign aid package, the bill that was stripped of US border security funding, setting up final passage as early as Tuesday (today folks). That’s right, those are the Republican Senators who don’t really care about what you think. In fact, McConnell and Tillis say that you and me, the base of the party, don’t know enough about the issue of Ukraine because we don’t have the intelligence briefings that a US Senator has or we’re just too dim-witted to know what is important. It seems constant these days and shouldn’t surprise me, America’s elected officials prioritize other nation’s national security over our own at every opportunity. They did it again over the weekend, after failing to pass a border security bill to stop the invasion at our southern border, The U.S. Senate chose to fund Ukraine again, in the face of growing opposition from their voters. Look I’m no isolationist, and am certainly not a pacifist, but I am opposed to starting World War three and only support risking American lives in war to defend our own vital national interests. And as Barack Obama said, Ukraine is not our vital national interest. Many senators have strong opponents this election cycle because of this intransigence, stubborn waste of our resources, and needlessly risking American lives. Roger Wicker of Mississippi is one of those senators and native Mississippian retired Marine Colonel Ghannon Burton is one of his very strong opponents. Truth is hard to find these days. Reporting on gun violence in this country is some of the worst than on any other subject. The media focuses on emotion and questionable statistics, the government focus on its own priorities can obfuscate the truth, and the numbers being reported are often manipulated to fit a left wing narrative. Our national security is at very high risk given 10s of thousands of military aged males from adversary countries have illegally crossed our southern border under sleepy joe biden. Our view is to reflect on the founders’ values and ask the American people to step up and demand military accountability because we have exhausted all internal attempts at remedies for holding the senior officers and enlisted members accountable for their actions in issuing and enforcing illegal orders, especially through the illegal COVID-19 vaccine mandate on the armed forces by President Joe Biden. We are passionate about our effort because this single institution, the US military is the core of everything that is a free America. If it remains blindly following partisan political ideologies instead of serving and defending our constitution, the country is lost. Today my guests are both signers of the declaration too. Prior to October 7th 2023, claims of rising antisemitism in the United States in my opinion were generally blamed on what I called a mythical “white supremacy” because the publicly available data just didn’t seem to support the claim. I was right but only in one aspect because since Oct 7 we have seen ant-semitic acts increase dramatically, with students and families being accosted in public places, both verbally and physically. You see where I was wrong was with white supremacy, the issue isn’t “white supremacists” as we traditionally think about them, you know, neo-Nazi’s, the KKK etc, but with a very diverse coalition of people of color and white liberal extremists. The striking thing is that we knew about Islamic antisemitism and the others, but the underlying support by white liberals we now see fully supporting the atrocities of Hamas, has exposed a reality in America catching a lot of folks by surprise. They shouldn’t be surprised though because even groups like the Anti-defamation league and elite universities like Harvard, have actively spread the propaganda and indoctrinated their members/students for decades. So much so that publicly threatening, attacking, and shaming Jewish people is now seemingly the norm among our younger generation today. Lawfare is an aggressive use of the justice system to suppress information, intimidate citizens, and interfere with legitimate public processes such as an election.
