No Spin Knife Throw / 1/2” washer at 11 ft.
.5” washer at 3.353 meters. Took about 7 minutes to accomplish today. About a week ago I tried for over and hour and got the washer, but the knife spun out.

Marine Reaper Bowie / V-44X Bowie Knife / Hard use.
Some heavy chopping and batoning with this video. Pine log sucks as a baton….. Chopping left handed makes you feel uncoordinated. Stay tuned for production updates.

The Marine Reaper Bowie / V-44X
*Chopping starts at the 14:00 mark.
This is the pre production prototype of my Marine Reaper Bowie / V-44X. The company making it is a secret for now. My goal here was to make a knife inspired by the Marine Raider Bowie, but bigger able to do heavy chopping as well as finer utility work. I wanted the knife to have a nice belly for slicing and to add some forward weight to give it a sweet spot while chopping. I added a choil so the user can choke up on the knife for carving, or doing quick snap cuts. The handle is designed to reduce pain to the hand during hard use. They can choke down some for harder chopping. This is a utility blade, but is still a weapon…. The tip geometry is intended to facilitate stabbing. I tried to keep it as light as possible buy adding a fuller reminiscent of the Kabar and only using 3/16” steel. The production model will have a kydex sheath, and micarta or G10 scales. Production steal will be similar to 1080 carbon. Hope you enjoy it. I wanted to make a knife the owner would be excited about. Let me know what you think!
*I’ll probably remove the jimping.. as it hits your webbing while using the choil.
Knife was made by Papa Bear Knives out of South Carolina. He did a great job, check him out!
* current weight is 1.5lbs

Bill Page Gryphon Throwing Knife Tricks
Bill Page passed earlier this year, I wanted to do a few tricks with this knife before I sold the set. Three rotation ring stick with a 4” ring, took 15 minutes.
Next was a 1” ring stick at just over 5 metes That to under 20 mins. These are dedicated to him. I never met him, but heard he was a nice guy. I did message him some online. I wish I had of bought a set of 15” Bullseye Seekers from him.

F.A.B. DEFENSE PDC / AK-47 Picatinny Top Cover
First off… let me apologize for the organization of this video… This is more of a first impressions. This was my only time out and I may’ve shot 120 rnds. Instal is pretty easy, but on my WASR-10 is does NOT allow for use of the battle setting. Right now I’m POA/POI at 25 yards on 300, I was 1” high at 25 yards on the battle setting. If you adjust the cover after zeroing, it will effect the zero. During zeroing, I tightened the knob 1-2 clicks, 2 different times. Everything seemed to be tight after that though. Between the spray paint, finish, and grit That could’ve accounted for the wearing that caused the looseness, that made it possible to tighten the top cover. The top cover is machined very nicely, and works pretty well. Whenever I get out and shoot more I will update ASAP. As far as the American defense mount and the primary arms optic, they are nice. If you have any questions about anything you see in the video don’t hesitate to ask. Check out Legion USA for AK-47 products.
I initially got the ME top cover, but the American defense mount and the primary arms mount did not fit between the picatinny slots.

WW2 V-44 Knife / Marine Raider Bowie Part 1
The other maker that I Forgot was Chindit out of India…. these are hard to find, they have a ribbed wooden handle. The numbers on the back of the Sheaths are service numbers. The one marker Julien is from a Marine named Robert J. Julien, he was an 0311 and a weapons instructor during WW2. I need to open a FOIA for the service number for the knife Marked Miller. The marsden knife with the sheath marked Borchardt, is from a soldier Stationed in Papua New Guinea during WW2, Arthur George Borchardt. If you’d like to help me find more info about T. J. Miller, service number, W 2107317 …. I’d greatly appreciate it. Anyway, Western and Kinfolks are the least produced V-44 knives. Collins & Co made the majority ad the Legitimus No 18 machete. Hope you found this video interesting, and if you have more to add…. Please do, as I’m no expert and I’d like the correct information. Message me on IG if you find a Kinfolks V-44. Stay tuned for more from my knife! Papa Bear Knives is making the prototype, and another larger company will be involved in the next steps making it a production knife. As of now the knife is Named, “Marine Reaper Bowie/ V-44X.” Thanks.
*If you have a buffalo horn handle, I was told to use Neats Foot Oil to care for them, due to the properties of the natural material. I also put a little bit of that and Dr. Jackson’s hide rejuvenator on the leather. Be very careful with the stitching.
* these were also called Gung Ho Knives”

Knife Throwing Trick Shot / 2 Rings
I’ve been trying different variations of this trick for a while… I stopped trying for a while. I haven’t thrown that much recently… had a feeling this was the day. The timing, as well as the two targets interfering with each other make this even more difficult. This is a .25” thick knife, I decided to use this because lighter knives would easily get knocked off course, and not stick… Thankfully I can put this one to bed…. Thanks for watching!
* I will usually throw my hands up so while I’m editing it’s easier for me to find close calls.

LPVOs on AK-47s?
Things to consider when thinking about putting a LPVO on an AK.
* One thing to note with an LPVO is even though there is a 1X setting… It’s not going to have an eye box that is as forgiving as a red dot.
* Even with some closer distances.. it can be hard to identify your target in thicker vegetations or low light without a magnified powered optic. In real life use your targets won’t be spray-painted white out in the open…
*when I say “more accurate” I kinda mean tighter groups. Will your hit percentage go up… maybe…. But the way wind effects 7.62 at 300 meters and possible 9 MOA, not sure you will see better accuracy with a LPVO, unless you couldn’t see the target looking through a red dot.
*you man not be able to positively ID your target at 100 yard with a red dot.
