I take you with me as I explore the streets and areas of Kathmandu for my first full evening there. I share with you what my first impressions are exploring around this city. I left my hotel in Thamel and walked through the streets. After some time, I stopped and got a coconut from a local street vendor and proceeded to find a bike taxi that took me for a short tour through the city. Today is a very exciting day. I have arrived to my 54th country I have visited which is Nepal. Specifically, I flew into Kathmandu Nepal where I will be spending some time exploring this vibrant city before heading off to explore some more of the country. For the last video in Oman, we take you with us to Avenues Mall. This is one of the largest malls in Oman and a place I wanted to show you as many people hang out at the malls. It is time for a market hunt! We first head over to the Mutrah Corniche right at sunset. Upon arrival, we got on a Mcdonald's colored multi seat bicycle that we cruised along the coastline for 30 minutes. After the cruise, we headed towards the souks and tried out some delicious smoothies. @Mabelle Chedid and I then headed inside the souks to do some bargain hunting. We were going to find some soaps and then ended up buying a jersey and some traditional Omani clothing. I woke up early enough to make sure I got to experience a typical Omani breakfast and I tried it over at a restaurant that was highly rated called Nana's. @Mabelle Chedid and I went over to try out the multi course meal and share our experience with you. Just the Omani breakfast was about $20 and then with coffees and some extras it came out to about $45usd for the 2 of us to eat. After the breakfast, we made a trip over to the Grand Mosque and showed you the experience of visiting this incredibly beautiful architecture. We take you with us inside the the Bimmah Sinkhole to go for a nice swim in the early afternoon. It is one of Oman's most famous tourist attractions and I can tell you it is worth a cruise over to. I went in for a nice refreshing dip to find out that there are fish in there that will give your skin a nice cleaning. After the sinkhole, @Mabelle Chedid and I roadtripped back to Oman and stopped at Mcdonalds for some food. I always try and visit a Mcdonalds in each place I am in just to see how they change the menu in every location they operate. Today was my favorite day in Oman by far! @Mabelle Chedid and I took a 2+ hour road trip from Muscat Oman over to Wadi Shab and let me tell you this was such a fun experience. We hiked in the hot sun until we found this beautifully colored pool in which we walked, lightly hiked, and swam to get over to a very narrow passage way. Once we arrived here, it was quite scary going through the really small passage way, but you find a beautiful waterfall and ultra blue and clear water inside the cave. I happened to come across this theme park by accident in Muscat Oman and decided to make a visit with @Mabelle Chedid. The roller coaster that I went on first was pretty scary to ride on mainly because it is a one single car rollercoaster on an old rickety track. As I was going up, I noticed part of the track was bent and I felt like my life flashed before my eyes. After that, we went on the bumper cars and these things could be full on crashed into one and other! It was intense especially with sparks dropping on our heads a couple times. We finished off with a pirate ship ride that was also pretty scary because when you sat in the back row and it goes all the way up you pretty much came out of your seat. It was all a thrill for sure. I searched on Google for the highest rated haircut in the city of Muscat. I located this place which had hundreds of 5 star reviews so I decided to give it a try. I arrived and met a really nice staff member who welcomed me and set me up with the barber. While I was getting the haircut, I got the chance to meet the owner and try out their full grooming package. I was impressed that they even waxed my ears. Today is the first full day of exploring Muscat Oman and I am so excited to take you with for today. I can tell you that Oman overall is super chill and relaxed from my first impressions. We found an even better mall than the Mall of Qatar, this is Villaggio Mall in Doha Qatar. @Mabelle Chedid and I enjoyed this one way more as the amount of activities were much better. It is time to head up to Al Khor Island also know as Purple Island which is in the municipality of Al Khor. @Mabelle Chedid and I take a trip up with ViaVii tours to experience what it is like to leave the city of Doha and enjoy an evening on the kayaks. It is time for a visit to the largest mall in Qatar which is known as the Mall of Qatar sitting in the capital city Doha. @Mabelle Chedid and I arrive to the mall and take you on a walking tour through it.
