Was Justice Achieved in the Chauvin Verdict?
Answer – It depends on what you consider to be justice.
In fact, if one was to simply listen to Nancy Pelosi, one would have to conclude that Floyd’s death was strictly voluntary.
How could I say such an inflammatory thing? Easily, for this is what Nancy said.
"Thank you, George Floyd, for sacrificing your life for justice.”
Now Nancy - When you sacrifice yourself for something or someone, you do so consciously and willingly. It’s a choice...

Is the Bill of Rights Absolute?
by: Brent Smith
When speaking about the Second Amendment, Lunchbox Joe Biden recently said that “no amendment is absolute.”
Well Lunchbox. If you mean that amendments are not perfect and not beyond change – then you’re right. But if Joe, or whoever wrote what Joe was reading, means that amendments can just be restricted or limited by a single executive’s edict, by legislative action, or just ignored all together, he is dead wrong.
And we all know what he means. It’s the latter, not the former.
This appears to me to be a new tact of the left...

Is this Dawn of the Planet of the Apes?
Well here go. Another question of just because we can, doesn’t mean we should.
And even if things “appear” to work out okay, what is the cost that must eventually be paid for whatever we did?
I’m talking about the latest brilliant scientific venture. Scientists have created embryos that are a mix of human and monkey cells.
And to that, one can only ask – What Could Possibly go Wrong?!

WND Exclusive - Is this why Major Corporations are Getting Woke and Going Green?
by: Brent Smith
Are corporations seeing a future that many of us don’t quite yet? A future where they have to fall in line, back the ‘correct’ social and environmental issues in order to curry favor with those who really run the world economy – the World Economic Forum (WEF)?
Is it why some 200 top corporate CEO’s met in 2019? They came together, as written in Forbes, in what’s called the ‘Business Roundtable’ to, “redefine the purpose of a corporation and show the power and importance of business.”
This redefinition included the following aspirations:

Are Vaccine Passports in Our Future?
by: Brent Smith
Here’s ‘Circle-Back’ Jen Psaki on possibility of the federal government supporting vaccine passports: "The government is not now, nor will we be supporting a system that requires Americans to carry a credential."
Translation. Oh yeah, we’re going to do it. We’re just going to let leftist States like New York and California lead the way. We’ll let them work out the bugs and then we’ll adopt it. In other words – we’re lying to you
And it will become part of your overall ESG. environmental, social and governance, rating. Like a credit score.
And don’t believe for a second, if you’ve been told that the ESG only applies to businesses.
Eventually, like China, everyone will have their very own ESG rating.
And your vaccination status will be part of it.

WND Exclusive - Build Back Better Act Deals with the Unvaccinated
by: Brent Smith
** For anyone lacking a sense of humor, this is what's called a PARODY **
The latest Covid Stimulus plan is called the “Build Back Better Act” (BBBA). It comes with a price tag of about $3 trillion. And there’s nothing more heroic, and patriotic, than passing out that kind of cheese.
After much discussion, the White House has made the decision to not give anymore money to the American citizen, due to, as an anonymous source revealed, much feedback on the White House comment line.
Comments such as the one by a Mr. Wellington Fare (his friends call him Wel) who munificently claimed that the government was already doing too much for the ‘common man and woman and other 110 legitimate genders currently in place.”
Good on you Mr. Fare. It’s selfless acts like this that make us proud to be citizens of the world.
Inexplicably though, some ‘skeptics’ are complaining that the BBBA has little actual initiatives for things like promoting the life preserving Covid vaccine...

Audio Article - Oil Change and Gun Control
by: Brent Smith
Given that Joe Biden, and by Joe I mean his handlers, is supposed to be unveiling his “package of executive actions to curb gun violence” today, I thought I would reissue an article I posted a while ago regarding a real-world way to curb gun violence.
For as we know, the best way to stop a bad guy with a gun, is a good guy (or girl) with a gun.
So here you go:
I was having my oil changed this morning, during which the service manager and I somehow got to discussing the “knockout game,” were punks attack unsuspecting victims and knock them to the ground, just for fun.
I have done business with this dealership for years, so they know me and are comfortable that I open carry my side arm...

WND Exclusive – Who’s Really in Charge?
by: Brent Smith
Practically since Lunchbox Joe Biden assumed office as President of the United States, we on the right have been wondering who is really in charge. At this point, all we know is that it isn’t Joe.
Pay no attention to that man, or woman or non-binary individual behind the curtain.
Many have surmised that it must his vice president, Kamala Harris. I disagree. This is a monumentally unlikable individual. Harris was so unpopular that she was the first candidate to withdrawal from the democrat primary.
In my humble opinion, the person or persons actually running this presidential marionette show want nothing to do with allowing a megalomaniac in waiting into the highest office in the land. She appears to be wholly unlikable, with few, if any powerful allies. And despite her success, I don’t things she’s all that bright. Not that this is a prerequisite to becoming president...

Just get Vaccinated and You can Keep Your Rights
by: Brent Smith
And if you don’t … well … we’re not quite ready to discuss that. Not yet anyway.
Just last weekend my World Net Daily article was about how America is sliding toward Despotism.
In it I quoted a pretty smart guy by the name of Benjamin Franklin. You may have heard of him.
No doubt, at least a few who read it, rolled their eyes, thinking that this is just more hyperbole from the Common Conspiracist. Here’s old Ben’s quote...

We Must Adhere to America’s Rulebook
by: Brent Smith
What does it mean when we on the right describe ourselves as conservatives? What is it that we are trying so hard to save, preserve or prevent the loss of - which is what to conserve means.
Those on the left would say we wish to conserve the days of slavery and Jim Crow - or maybe the white-old days of the 1950s before the Civil Rights movement.
Despite the fact that all those bad times were born of the left in this country, we conservatives wish to reestablish and conserve America’s original set of governing rules.
Our nation was founded on a set of ideals – the Declaration of Independence, and rules – the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Yet Americans today seem only to care, and demand absolute adherence to some rules, while all but ignoring others...

Vaccine Passports will be the Bridge to Green New Deal Passports
by: Brent Smith
Lunch box Joe Biden says it’s our patriotic duty to wear a mask. CDC Director, Dr. Rochelle Walensky, impassionedly exclaimed her feeling of impending doom. And Jen Psaki basically said our futures include a Covid vaccine passport.
What they didn’t say is that, in my humble opinion, we are being set-up – groomed for a seamless transition from this to the next required passport – the Green New Deal passport.
Like mask wearing and social distancing, they must normalize the idea of always having our “papers.” Then they’ll merely up the anti to expand the scope of the passport. I can’t wait.

WND Exclusive - Is Despotism in Our Future?
by: Brent Smith
A growing number of Americans, it seems, are surprised at how fast we are descending from a free and liberty-loving society, to one which gives every appearance of emulating any one of many failed socialist/communist States.
But still most cling to the idea that this can never happen here – right? Of course not – although, for example, not too long ago Venezuela was one of the most prosperous nations on Earth. But hey, as the saying goes - they just haven’t done socialism/communism right. Seems no one has.
For years we conservatives complained about Obama - that he was a lawless president, he was despotic - that we've never seen anyone like him. How did he ever get elected?
But then came 2020 and a plethora of democrat candidates. And we asked how any of this crop of leftist radicals could ever become president? Yet here we are...

Rewriting History – Let’s Pretend that Jim Crow and Segregation was a Republican Idea
Read and React:
I discuss a recent Daily Wire article entitled, “No, Requiring ID To Vote Is Not Like Jim Crow.”
It’s about Georgia Governor Brian Kemp signing of the Election Integrity Act of 2021. Somehow it’s a racist bill, because it requires people to prove, through the use of a photo I.D., who they actually are. Imagine that!
And to today’s democrat hacks, the Act is akin to the new Jim Crow.

Video Podcast – Republicans Propose Surrender – It’s What they Do!
by: Brent Smith
Read & React – I found this article at Breitbart. It’s about how a group of French Republicans (h/t: Mark Levin) are promoting their very own amnesty giveaway bill.
But hey – this is what Republicans do. They don’t have the spine or the will to fight for us, so they just water down the democrat proposal figuring we’ll be grateful that it doesn’t appear as bad, and then we’ll support it and them.
They use this tactic more often than not. They can’t continue to get away with this!

WND Exclusive - The Right to Bear the Constitution - or at Least Review It
by: Brent Smith
Many Americans suffer from a common phobia. No, it’s not the very reasonable fear we are living now, of Democrats running the country. That’s not a phobia, for its not irrational.
No, they suffer from an irrational fear of guns. Guns are not inherently scary. They are just a tool - like a screwdriver or a leaf-blower. You've heard the saying, the right tool for the right job. You wouldn't use a gun to blow the leaves around your yard and thus you wouldn't use a leaf blower to defend yourself. You could try, but I’ll bet it won’t go well.
Yet over the years more and more citizens have been purposely conditioned to think guns are scary “weapons of war.” On a weekly basis, we here of one after another proposed piece of gun curtailing legislation coming from the left.
They’ve scared the people into agreeing that one of the solutions is the “Gun Free Zone.” And these days there are more and more “gun free zones” than ever.

Audio Article - Is America Still the Best Mankind has to Offer?
by: Brent Smith
Is America still the place of our founder’s vision? Is it still the home of the ideals of freedom, liberty, and God-given inalienable rights?
And in case anyone needs a refresher on what inalienable rights mean; they are rights which are incapable of being denied or taken away. Nor can they be even temporarily rescinded or abridged – you know – for our safety and security.
I’ve been pondering this question for a little while now, but only tangentially. I haven’t really delved into it until recently hearing Steve Deace of the Blaze mention it.
Many of us, for probably most or all of our adult lives, have exclaimed how much we love America, and how proud we are to be American. Count me as one of them. I’ve been as patriotic as any.
But recently I’ve begun to question my resolve, my continued insistence of just how proud I am.

Von Mises Knew Who the Dems Are
by: Brent Smith
According to the Mises Institute, Ludwig Heinrich Edler von Mises, born 1881, died 1973, was “One of the most notable economists and social philosophers of the twentieth century.”
Von Mises knew exactly who the democrats were and are today.
And I discuss his most famous quote and how applicable it to today’s democrats.

WND Exclusive - Canceling America
by: Brent Smith
Now they’re canceling cartoons. They’re cartoons people!
But that’s what leftists do and have done for over a century.
It began with Woodrow Wilson’s want to rewrite the Constitution. His reasoning was that it was a fine document for it’s time, but was no longer applicable to the concerns of the day. You could say he was the father of modern-day cancel culture.
Frankly, in my opinion, Wilson is the father of everything that’s wrong with America at present, but I digress.
Since then, the left has evolved, or devolved, into what we see today. A movement bent on asserting that all past American culture is offensive, isolating it – and little by little, step by step, erasing it from history until there’s nothing left...

Video Podcast – Where’s this Democracy They Keep Telling Us About?
by: Brent Smith
The left keeps hammering that we are a democracy. We hear it almost everywhere. Politicians, democrat and Republican say it. Virtually everyone in the press claims we are a democracy. Political pundits on both sides of the aisle say it.
It’s quite rare anymore, to hear anyone from the smart-than-we set describe our nation as a constitutionally mandated representative republic.
But despite what all the talking heads and the political elite class says, I’m not certain that they would like a true democracy either, where everyone gets to vote on everything...

Video Podcast – Advancing of the Speech Police
Today I discuss a bill that is being proposed in Kentucky, by a Republican, which will make it a crime, a Class B misdemeanor, if they (protesters or rioters), “accost, insult, taunt, or challenge a law enforcement officer with offensive or derisive words, or by gestures or other physical contact, that would have a direct tendency to provoke a violent response from the perspective of a reasonable and prudent person."
Well isn’t that vague and ridiculous, lumping in words with violent acts. How convenient. And isn’t it always the way. Bad policy always begins with well-meaning Republicans, unable to comprehend the slippery slope they put us on, as not-well-meaning leftists eventually get a hold of it.

WND Exclusive - The Income Tax - A Brief History
by: Brent Smith
As we are knee-deep in tax season, I thought it might be useful to explain why Americans aren’t rioting over the size of the ever-ballooning national debt and yearly budget deficit – how Washington is taxing and spending us into oblivion and yet we just don’t seem to care.
One of the reasons is surely that many Americans don’t feel they have skin in the game.
Sure, during each election cycle, when a pollster calls, we tell him or her it is one of our top priorities. Consistently, in virtually every national poll, among the top 10 concerns of voters in 2020 were taxes, spending, debt and deficits.
But in the real world, it must not bother most of us as much as we claim. I explained, years ago, that this odd juxtaposition is due almost entirely to income tax withholding – that we don’t miss what we never receive. It’s aptly called reduced taxpayer awareness...

Covid to Climate - A Seamless Transfer of Crisis
by: Brent Smith
Like the seamless transfer of Power, so shall there be a seamless transfer of crisis.
I recently had a rather enlightening discussion with a neighbor regarding Covid lockdowns and mask-ups.
She said, “If I have to wear a mask to keep others safe, I’ll do it. It’s a small price to pay.” I then asked how long she would be willing to do this. Her answer: “For as long as it takes. It’s not a big deal.”
She knows I disagree. She knows I don’t wear a mask, but thinks I do so out of some rebel-without-a-cause mentality.
I explained that she is looking at this issue more through a micro-lens, while I instead am just trying to see the big picture...
Video Podcast - No More Global Warming - Coming to a Stratosphere Near You – Gas Prices
This hasn’t gotten a lot of press. It’s about Bill Gates. No, not concerning vaccines and control of population growth.
Gates, like other insanely wealthy people, is bored. So he/they, like we all do, feel he needs a purpose. His purpose is saving the planet … from us … the little people.
So Gates has teamed up with Harvard University, of course, to save the world from Climate Change – global warming.
Here’s the plan. The plan is to release reflective particles into our atmosphere to reflect the sun’s warming rays and voila – cool the planet.
BRILLIANT!

Video Podcast – Covid Safety vs Illegal Immigration
This Podcast was deleted by YouTube. Their official "fact checkers" took offense to it.
by: Brent Smith
At the same time the authorities are telling us that we may have to don not one or two masks, but three, to keep us safe from Covid-19, the deadliest virus known to mankind, Tucker Carlson reports that the Biden administration will quietly begin releasing detained illegal immigrants into American society without even testing them.
And as I predicted, oddly after Biden was elected, the rate of Covid contraction is precipitously falling. And in the middle of winter. How odd.
