DIY 5 INGREDIENT WHIPPED BODY BUTTER RECIPE – PERFECT FOR ALL SKIN TYPES!
You MUST try this DIY 5 ingredient whipped body butter recipe, perfect for all skin types!
Most moisturizers and body butters are full of unnecessary, harmful chemicals which are toxic to our organ systems. Our skin is our biggest organ, and anything you put on your skin will absorb right into your bloodstream!
Parabens and perfumes are the key ingredients in everyday, store-bought body butters. These chemicals can cause hormonal disruption and can lead to cancer... this is a proven fact!
Everything you need is provided by Mother Gaia. That’s why this recipe only contains five of the essential ingredients your skin needs to stay hydrated and glowing!
Coconut oil, shea butter, aloe vera and vitamin e are all known for their anti-inflammatory and moisturize-boosting benefits! Not only is this recipe great for your skin, but it’s also good for the environment. ❤️
Full recipe below:
- 250 grams (about 7.05 oz) of Raw Shea Butter
- 1 cup of Coconut Oil
- 250 ml (about 8.45 oz) of Vitamin E Oil
- 30- 40 drops of Vanilla Essential Oil
- 150 ml (about 5.07 oz) of Aloe Vera
- OPTIONAL: Ground Cinnamon
1. Extract the aloe vera gel from the plant, but first, wash off the toxic yellow substance that forms when you cut off the leaf. Blend and place in the fridge.
2. Melt the shea butter indirectly by boiling a pot of water and placing a metal bowl on top. Melt until the shea butter becomes a liquid. Let it cool down slightly.
3. Add the coconut oil, vitamin e oil and vanilla essential oil. Place in the fridge to harden overnight.
4. Blend the mixture using a handheld or stand mixer. Add the aloe vera and mix well.
6. Add more vanilla essential oil, and cinnamon (optional).
7. Add mixture to a piping bag and pipe into glass jars. Tap the jars to remove air bubbles and make room for more body butter.
8. Add a label and it's ready to use!
