Sony "Acquires" Bungie for $3.6 Billion

First Microsoft buys Activision-Blizzard, now Sony buys Bungie? This is how the console war dies; not a battle of the greatest exclusive games or more powerful hardware, but just buying the competition. Neither Sony nor Microsoft cares about competing on the console level, this is just about who can make the most money. Both companies put their games on PC now, which is great for me, but represents another small death for the gaming industry.
