Bunnies in the carrot patch cake is both cute and delicious! With just a few ingredients, you too can make one. To make you will need the following: a chocolate cake frosted with chocolate frosted, sweetened coconut flakes, green food coloring, assorted colored bunny Peeps, powdered candy filled carrots(I found at Dollar Tree)and jelly beans. First sprinkle some coconut into a small bowl(about 1/2c). Add some drops of green food coloring to the coconut in the bowl. Mix well with a fork until green and no white coconut remains. Place the bunnies on the cake, wherever you desire, but spaced out. I had to insert toothpicks to the bottom of the bunnies as they started to fall over. Next sprinkle the green colored coconut on the cake to resemble grass. Lay the carrots on the cake wherever you desire. Then add some jelly beans to the cake to resemble Easter eggs. Add as many as you desire and wherever you desire. Your bunnies in the carrot patch cake is ready to serve! Now you have a cake that is both cute and delicious and perfect for any Easter gathering! Happy Easter! Enjoy!

Note: green frosting can be used in place of the coconut. Pull with tines of a fork to resemble grass after spreading onto cake. You can also make carrots out of orange and green cake decorating frosting if you are unable to find the powdered candy filled carrots at Dollar Tree. All the ingredients shown here can be purchased at Dollar Tree.
