When reading the Internal Affairs documents from the 90s he was called "sergeant" and thus a bad habit formed in the recording. Captain James Burke worked his way up the chain of command with the Help of Former Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota. Burke's corruption was deep and overlooked till a local man Christopher Loeb ran a foul of the Chief Of Police.

In this video we look at some of the early years leading up to the incident that sent James Burke to jail. Thomas Spota followed suit for the cover up a few years later.
