Libs of TikTok DOXXING: The REAL Story?

The eminent Twitter account "Libs of Tiktok" was recently doxxed by Washington Post reporter Taylor Lorenz. The identity of the woman behind Libs of TikTok was revealed in a Washington Post story, to the immediate criticism of many political observers. Many individuals, like MSNBC's "Reid out" blog writer Ja'han Jones said the doxxing of "Libs of Tiktok" is good because they spread "anti-LGBTQ hate."This was the same roundabout justification used by Taylor Lorenz, who went on Brian Stelter's "Reliable Sources" podcast to argue her reporting was good on those grounds, since Libs of TikTok allegedly inspired the passage of Florida's Parental Rights in Education bill, slanderously termed "Don't Say Gay" by critics.

Mr. Watson takes the conversation beyond Libs of Tiktok and focuses on the broader ethical implications of doxxing, privacy, and societal co-existence in the digital age. He argues that this hitjob against Libs of Tiktok is feeble, immoral, and reflects a broader mentality amongst journalists like Lorenz and her crew.
