Yep, the weekend Kentucky road trip that almost never was! Uggghh. Another blow trailer tire while on the highway, some good information of you own a trailer, the bobcat e42 R series mini excavator gets back to work on the Kentucky farm and more! Thanks for joining us today on this PART 1 of 2 mini series on my Kentucky road trip with the Bobcat e42 R series mini excavator in tow! It all started out just perfect... A nice Saturday morning, my trailer towing logistics played out perfectly, me and Sharon would get to spend some time together... Doesn't that sound great? Well, join me to see how it really went on my Kentucky road trip. It was going very well until I blew another trailer tire while on the highway! But this time I was well prepared! A 4 ton jack and Milwaukee power tools really helped to minimize the frustration! But a very valuable learning lesson was about to unfold as I finally figured out why I seem to be having an unusually high number of blow trailer tires! That was a huge plus for this trip! Oh, and here is the video link of us raising the old red barn with the excavator that I reference in this video:

Also after I get the blown trailer tire all fixed up, run in to Marion Kentucky to Rocket Tire, get a new spare fixed up, I did finally make it to our Kentucky farm and get some bobcat mini ex work done! Of course the Polaris Ranger XP900 was dead as a doornail, so much so that I could not even get it to take a charge with a battery charger so we had to once again improvise, adapt and overcome! We pulled out the Polaris Ranger with the mini ex and jump started it with Sharon's car to overcome that little problem. Got a ton of stuff done cleaning up the yard with the mini ex and salvaged the trip overall.
