In this video I am lake fishing for spring time bass with different types of largemouth bass fishing Lures. Lake fishing for largemouth bass is a lot of fun and some thing I don’t do nearly often enough. I have actually spent very little time lake fishing for spring time bass because I’m such a river rat. I have many different types of largemouth bass Fishing lures so I picked out my favorite early spring largemouth bass fishing Lures and brought as many rods as I could comfortably bring so that I could have an arsenal rigged and ready for each spot we moved to. This is a technique that pro bass fisherman use that I seldom get to take advantage of as I often have to travel light when bank fishing or wading the river. We get some pretty decent largemouth bass fishing in mid Michigan and there is plenty of bass fishing in Lansing Michigan however I usually prefer to target smallmouth bass in the river as opposed to the bigger mightier largemouth bass that are more commonly found in lakes. Since Jason recently got a new boat we decided to start fishing Michigan Lakes more often. And this particular day we were feeling lazy and wanted to sit in comfort and do some lazy fishing. We have been chasing Steelhead for months and it is often a lot of work physically to wait the river trample through the woods invite big fish in heavy current. So we decided that we were going to go after some early spring largemouth bass with the potential for some Crappie or a musky. Both Jason and I have been dying to get our first musky and on this trip I think we almost did. The fish that we lost was most certainly huge and toothy. If it was not a musky it was at least a trophy Pike. One of the nice things about lake fishing for largemouth bass is that you have an opportunity to pick up an oddball fish such as Pike musky crappy etc. we brought Robert rides and live bait With the hopes of picking up some Crappie or with any luck A toothy creature. In this video I shut off several different types of largemouth bass fishing Lures that I like to use regularly. Because it’s my first time targeting bass this year I’m not honed in on what they’re biting at the moment so my plan was to bring as many different types of largemouth bass fishing Lures as possible so that I was prepared for anything. As it turns out we got a fish on mepps spinners rapala jerk baits and soft plastic crayfish imitations as well as the whopper plopper. We didn’t catch any monster largemouth bass but got a few small ones and a few decent ones and we had a nice relaxing morning on the lake in Jason‘s new largemouth bass fishing boat. It’s not just a bass boat. So far it’s a Walleye in the bass boat LOL but we intend to catch every fish from this boat. If you enjoy this Michigan bass fishing video make sure to check out my bass fishing playlist do you see all of my other Michigan bass fishing videos. I have over 200 Michigan fishing videos thus far And I don’t have nearly as many bass fishing videos as I should all things considered but I’ve been so preoccupied with targeting new species over the last few years that I have spent minimal amount of time actually targeting bass especially largemouth bass because usually if I want to go bass fishing I go to the river and fish for smallmouth bass. Thanks to Jason and his new boat we will be fishing Michigan lakes more often and trying new places. We intend to do some more Muskie fishing in the near future and seeing what else we can get away with doing with Jason’s new boat. If you were looking for early spring largemouth bass fishing tips I hope this video was helpful in showing some of my favorite early spring largemouth bass fishing lures. Make sure to stay tuned as I intend to do plenty of educational fishing videos in the near future!
