Dallas Mavericks at Golden State Warriors Full Game Highlights
After the Mavericks made a statement in Sunday's dominant victory in the seventh game against the Suns, Dallas coach and Bay Area basketball legend Jason Kidd said the team did not feel like fighting a talented team in the Warriors that advanced to the Western world. Conference finals six of the last eight seasons.

But Dallas still felt hot when the Warriors defeated the Mavericks 112:87 in a game that was almost decided to start the fourth quarter.

The Warriors won Wednesday's game remarkably, Andrew Wiggins was a hero in the first half, Stephen Curry led the team in rebounds and Klay Thompson did not score a point until the second half.

The biggest challenge for the Warriors, who are going to the Western Conference finals on Wednesday, is to stop 23-year-old Luke Dončić, who sometimes doesn't seem to stop this season. Wiggins is Dončić's main defender, although Thompson and Kevon Looney have also replaced the All-Star three times. In the first quarter, Wiggins inadvertently touched Dončić as he tried to cross over, leaving a large scratch on the face of the Slovenian star.

The Warriors eventually held Dončić with only 20 points, which is his lowest score in the post-season. He scored only two points in the second half.

Golden State has already won three places in the NBA Finals in three years.

But getting the last three wins may not be as easy as winning the 1st game. Despite intense performance at the Chase Center, the Mavericks proved unsurpassed. In Sunday's 7th game, they defeated the Suns and won four of the last five games in the semifinals to advance to the Western Conference finals for the first time since their head coach was quarterback (2011). Just 27 points at the start of Game 7, the Mavericks initially had a slow pace and gave the Warriors 28 points in the first quarter, while the Wiggins led by 10 points in the first quarter.

Wiggins made his debut in the Western Conference finals, scoring 15 out of 19 points in the first two quarters. At one point, he was ashamed to compare his high score to the season.

Thompson survived the second half after a quiet first half. After 0: 4 from the field in the first two quarters, Thompson prevailed 7: 9 in the second half and finished with 15 points. Curry also took advantage of the second half and finished with 21 points and 12 rebounds.

Seven Warriors finished with a double-digit overall score. Jordan Poole had 19 points from the bench and Otto Porter Jr. added 10 points and six rebounds. Draymond Green scored 10 points and nine rebounds.

Meanwhile, Spencer Dinwiddie provided an offensive spark for the Mavericks off the bench. He scored 17 points, going 3-for-7 from 3-point range. Jalen Brunson had 14 points and four rebounds and Reggie Bullock added 12 points.

It’s worth noting that both teams were without key players. Tim Hardaway Jr. is out for the season with a broken foot, and Gary Payton II hasn’t played a game since he broke his elbow in Game 2 of the last series. Andre Iguodala (neck injury) is also missing, although he served as another Warriors coach during his absence.

The Warriors remained perfect in the playiffs at Chase Center, with a 7-0 record on their home pitch.

Golden State will host the second game on Friday before the series moves to Dallas on Sunday.
