This morning, CHP H-30 responded with Marin County Fire Department, Stinson Beach Fire, and Con Air 2 for a report of a fall from a cliff near Stinson Beach. After an extensive search, H-30 located the patient approximately 1 mile south of the reported location.

H-30 lowered a Marin County Fire Captain/Paramedic to the patient’s location where he treated and prepared her for rescue. H-30 returned overhead and hoisted the patient approximately 60 feet from the rock to H-30. H-30 transported her to the Stinson Beach South Lot and transferred care to Con Air 2.

The patient was flown to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek in serious condition. Currently she is being treated by the trauma team at John Muir.
