The Ohio State Highway Patrol released video of a high-speed chase that led law enforcement through northern Ohio.

The chase on April 14, which lasted more than an hour, spanned four counties — Ottawa, Erie, Lorain and Cuyahoga — and resulted in one man’s arrest.

It started in Ottawa County when sheriff’s deputies tried pulling over a vehicle for a traffic violation and vehicle defect, a release states. The vehicle, a sliver pickup, didn’t stop for law enforcement.

Video shows a state trooper on Ohio 2 eastbound in Erie County attempt to use stop sticks on the fleeing vehicle, but the pickup manages to avoid the sticks and the pursuit continues. The pickup eventually hit stop sticks placed by Huron police, puncturing several of the pickup’s tires along with a tire on an Ottawa County sheriff’s cruiser.

The dash video shows the fleeing pickup lose tire after tire as the chase progresses, causing the vehicle to shoot sparks off of the highway’s surface.

The vehicle eventually pulls off to the side of I-90 in Lakewood, and the driver can be seen fleeing on foot and jumping over a concrete barrier. The driver, identified as 23-year-old Daron Falkner of Bedford Heights, Ohio, was arrested after an hour-long search and was charged with failure to comply, the release states. A passenger in the vehicle was detained but later released without charges.

Falkner was taken to the Ottawa County Jail where he remains on a $50,000 bond as of Monday, jail records state.
