State Senator Alan Clark (District 13) reviews current legislation on which he is the sponsor:

* SB18 would presume that joint custody in divorce cases is in the best interest of children.

* SB188 declares that polling places are "not private property" on election day(s). This legislation is aimed at bans by property owners who want to stop lawful "electioneering" activity such as signature gathering, holding and placing signs, etc on "private property" used as a polling place. While Arkansas law already specifies such activities must take place beyond 100 feet of a polling place, this bill also more closely defines that as "100 feet of the primary exterior entrance" of a polling place.

* SJR2 is a Constitutional amendment that would allow the General Assembly to convene in extraordinary session upon a majority vote of both the state House and state Senate -- allowing the Legislature to call themselves into session.

* SB19 is the Senate companion bill to state Rep. Julie Mayberry's "No Patient Left Alone" bill that allows patients to have someone with them when undergoing medical treatment.

Later, John Vincent with the Arkansas Pharmacists Association updates us on the vaccination process and distribution in Arkansas.
