The most realistic Batman movie plot yet…

Batman Lives Matter

Opening Scene: Mother, father, son walk down a dark alley. A hoodlum brandishing a gun tells them to “Give me all your money!” They do so, but a sudden movement by the father causes the hoodlum to pull the trigger killing the mother and father.

Soon after, Batman hears the cries of a young boy. He sees him laying next to their lifeless bodies. Out of sympathy, Batman takes off his mask and says, “I’m sorry, kid. Who did this?” The boy describes a young black man in a black sweatshirt. Batman vows to find the man who killed his parents.

Batman quickly comes across a young blank man in a black sweatshirt running through the streets. The man orders Batman to get off him! Leave me alone! I didn’t do anything wrong! But Batman just wants to ask a few questions. The man gets more aggressive and pushes Batman away.

Batman flashes back to when his parents were killed. When Batman regains self-awareness he’s standing over the man’s unconscious body.

Batman rushes the man to the hospital, but by the time he gets there it’s too late. The man is dead. And as it would turn out… he wasn’t even the murderer.

On the other side of Gotham, the Joker is being let out of prison after having cooperated with the police in helping them get several big-time gang/mafia members.

The next day city-wide protests break out against Batman, “Lock him up!”

The Joker tracks down the orphaned boy in the paper, the boy reveals that “Batman is the man on the billboard.” At first the Joker is confused, but then he recalls Batman’s eyes in the final moments of their last fight, which is what got him thrown in prison (flashback to their big bank fight 6 years prior) and how his eyes match with Bruce Wayne’s whose dressed in a tux with beautiful models all around him on a Wayne Enterprises billboard with the slogan, “Our Vision is 20/20 in 2020” AHHH-HA! The Joker kisses the kid and gallops away.

The Joker leaks the fact that Batman is Bruce Wayne. People hate Batman even more because they hate the 1%.

Bruce Wayne gets arrested. His bond is set extremely high.

Bruce Wayne has to sell Wayne Manor and his stock in Wayne Enterprises to pay his bond and afford his legal fees.

Bruce Wayne is found guilty of 2nd degree murder. He gets sentenced to life in prison.

When Bruce Wayne walks into his jail cell he sees written on the wall, “THE JOKER WAS HERE.” Bruce Wayne tries to escape (much like in The Dark Knight Rises) but this is the real world and he fails 1, 2, 3, times until eventually he gives up and accepts his lot in life. Two-face says with a shadow covering half his face, “You thought we could be decent men in an indecent time, but you were wrong. The world is cruel.”

As the perfect anti-cop, anti-rich symbol, The Joker ends up getting elected mayor of Gotham City on a platform of DefundThePolice TaxTheH*llOutOfTheRich

Mayor Joker enacts his platform.

Chaos ensues.

There also happens to be a virus outbreak (probably due to the dirty tricks of Scarecrow) so Mayor Joker orders everyone to wear masks, the city hands out free clown masks.

When night falls, the innocent lock their doors and the clowns take to the street as they rob, loot, and murder.

Things get so bad that eventually the prison guards (with the help of Alfred) eventually free Batman, to which he passively goes along.
To the disappointment of the guards, Batman retires to the woods. Alfred pleads with him to don the cape again, but Bruce responds, “I gave them everything I had and they burnt it to the ground.” Alfred responds, “Not everything.”

Word gets out that Batman is in the woods, people start flocking to where the legend lives. (Even though schools have more funding than ever before due to the Joker’s defunding the police, the quality of education has gotten worse because kids are more scared than ever to leave home. Kids are also looting, which they see as their only opportunity to get nice stuff as more and more of the businesses have boarded up and left the city. A young Robin decides to drop out of school and head for the woods.)

Batman’s cabin quickly fills up. The people then build a camp. The camp quickly fills up too. In order to maintain law and order, Batman builds a wall.
Mayor Joker gets jealous of Batman’s growing popularity. He sends his goons to finish him off.

But Batman and the Batpeople (they wear batmasks to protect from the virus) fight back Joker’s clown-mask-wearing goons. The Batpeople were so successful that they slowly expand Batman’s territory, which they call New Gotham.

Mayor Joker is losing so he brings back the police because they have more guns and ammunition than his goons to then go out and rearrest Batman and disband New Gotham...
