ROOT TRAINING! Sobennikoffia humbertiana & Paraphalaenopsis labukensis aerial roots? Not happening!
#Sobennikoffiahumbertiana #Paraphalaenopsislabukensis #Aerialroots
Some roots are not going into the media of their own accord. As these orchids are still seedling size and need to get more hydration / nutrients, I do not want any roots to establish themselves outside of the media, just yet. Once they are maturer, then I have not problem with aerial roots. In this video, I redirect roots that are showing the tendency of growing outside of the pot, into the pot. This way, I hope to be able to hydrate and grow these little seedlings on with better possibilities of nutrient uptake and hydration. If any questions arise, while you watch this video, I encourage you to leave them in the comments section below. Sometimes, I film and do not always complete a train of thought! If that is the case, please draw my attention to it as well, and I will be very happy to qualify what a said / mentioned in the given situation! Thank you so very much for watching!!

A SIDE NOTE / TREAT:
00:00 - Root Training
05:24 - Watch the bottom right hand corner of the screen and see Baloo on his way to barking up a storm at someone entering the community via the gate. approx 2 seconds of silence where I say nothing but stare him down, he is off screen, but you hear a click of my fingers... and then he appears back on the bottom right corner of the screen, walking to his naughty corner in the living room! :)) If you see that, leave me a comment and tell me what you think! LOL!
If it is the first time for you, on my channel... Welcome!! Consider subscribing for continued insights into my orchid growing journey, I would really appreciate it :)
