1. Few days before the attempt by Ukrainian troops to take over the Island of Serpents, US commercial satellites photographed it. This was reported on Tuesday, June 21, by RIA Novosti correspondents.

According to the agency, the Worldview-3 satellite filmed Snake Island on June 14, and Worldview-1 on June 17.

Earlier that day, Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov, spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry, said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had tried to seize Snake Island.

The ministry noted that over 15 attack and reconnaissance drones were used in the air raid by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which were guided by two Bayraktar TB2 drones.

In addition, the Russian Armed Forces (RF Armed Forces) spotted a US Air Force RQ-4 Global Hawk strategic reconnaissance drone in the air in the Snake Island area at high altitude.

The representative of the Russian Defense Ministry noted that all Ukrainian weapons fired on the island were destroyed by the Russian Pantsir and Tor anti-aircraft systems.

Having failed to seize the island, the Kyiv regime embarked on a new adventure in relation to Russian gas production infrastructure facilities in the northwestern part of the Black Sea, and struck at the drilling platforms of Chornomorneftegaz.

The area of drilling platforms in the Black Sea was also filmed by American satellites a week before the strike.
