Info from Licensor: De-shed done on Akino (Husky). Akino comes in for his de-shed every 4-6 months. He is a sweetheart that loves the process. This is step one of a de-shed process, which consists of 8 step process. All double-coated dogs should receive a professional de-shed to keep their coat healthy and allow it to keep them cool in summer and warm in winter. Never shave a double-coated dog. Always do a de-shed.
