Breaking News: Japan approves initial plans to release water from wrecked nuclear plant #shorts #news

Japan's nuclear regulatory body on Friday approved initial plans to release treated radioactive wastewater from the Fukushima nuclear plant which was destroyed in the 2011 tsunami. The approval gives Tokyo Electric Power Company the greenlight to build necessary infrastructure to discharge the water after treating it. According to plans, the water will be released into the sea next year.
