The "Immortal Legion" parade was held on Russia's Victory Day, and Putin walked in the procession with his father's portrait in his hand.
According to reports from Russia's TASS and RIA Novosti, on May 9, the Russian people held the "Immortal Legion" parade holding portraits of relatives who participated in the Great Patriotic War. Russian President Vladimir Putin was also in the parade, and he held a portrait of his father to participate.
According to the video reported by the TASS news agency, Putin and the marchers were walking on Moscow's Red Square at the time, and they also waved to the people in the stands of the military parade on the Red Square. TASS reported that this was Putin's first participation in the "Immortal Legion" event since 2019.
