Work Tuff Gear Wilderness Warrior Gen 2.

Intro
My Name Is Shan Hamilton; I am a Canadian hobbyist knife maker and designer. My passion for collecting and using knives started at a very young age. Over the years, I found myself buying knives, using them, then immediately modifying them, reshaping blades handles, changing the edges, making Kydex sheaths, and the list goes on. After discovering what aspects of a knife I like and enjoy, I went to the drawing board. I wanted a knife that was a faithful "Jack of all Trades" type of knife that I could take outdoors, in the field, camping, hunting trips, etc. The blade had to fit many roles, in the sense of being an excellent all-around outdoor knife; made for the Outdoorsman. A knife that can process wood, from getting through small logs to feather sticks, from small chopping jobs to delimbing branches, and still be used around the campsite to prepare meals and games, or even to have at home to do yard work and other chores.
The Design:
The tip of the knife lines up with the middle of the handle. This aids in any drilling and thrusting tasks
The blade is tall and features a high saber grind for rigidity, strength, and toughness. The saber also helps with wood splitting tasks. The extra height on the blade gives some capabilities of a full flat grind when it comes to slicing tasks.
There is a choil; although I don't use the choking for baring cuts, I do use the choil when using a pinch grip when doing food prep; the index finger slips into the choil to give reasonable control.
The ramp on the spine provides leverage for the thumb when doing baring cuts such as feather sticks.
The jimping aids in traction when forward thrusts are needed.
The handle has an integrated guard to lock the hand in place.
The handle features a rearward palm swell to allow the user to keep their entire hand on the handle and choke back for those hacking, chopping, and delimbing tasks, all the while providing control and the leverage needed.
And it has a lanyard hole; who doesn't like options?
I am very grateful to have this opportunity to partner with Work Tuff Gear and bring this design to life. I own several WTG knives, and they are among some knives that I have never had to nor felt the need to modify. Their quality, fit and finish, and attention to detail are bar none. When I reached out to Vic for a collaboration, I could not have imagined we would be here today. I can't thank Vic and WTG enough for this collaboration. On behalf of myself and WTG, we present the "Wilderness Warrior."
