The National Mall when President Trump spoke on January 20, 2017

(Posted July 25, 2022) A gigapixel image of the inauguration of Donald J. Trump was taken on January 20, 2017. The #NationalMall was PACKED all the way to the #WashingtonMonument. The meme photo with snow on the ground posted on the internet comparing Obama's inauguration to #Trump's was taken hours before #PresidentTrump actually spoke. There are also time-lapse videos online showing the mall filling up that day, but they always end long before #PresidentTrump shows up. An estimated one million people heard #DonaldTrump's iconic speech in person on that historic day. It was awesome!
