Minister of Agriculture Marie-Claude Bibeau is seen here posing with the grocery bags, utensils, coffee sticks, straws and food service items that have been deemed “problematic” and will be banned in Canada.

While inflation runs rampant, the Trudeau government remains steadfast in what some people call a religious devotion to stopping climate change.

Environment Minister Steven Guilbeault, also known for his radical environmentalism past, has instructions from his department recommending businesses provide more meal options that do not require the use of cutlery, for example, wraps and sandwiches.

As the push for a return to depression-era lifestyles continues, we are being educated by the government on how to wash and reuse bags.

An entire page in the guidance document is dedicated to plastic ring carriers, plastic stir sticks, and plastic straws. By December 2023, you will no longer be able to buy checkout bags, cutlery, or straws.

The Trudeau government is proving to be dedicated to their new climate plan, with a focus on reducing nitrous oxide emissions from fertilizer by 30% below 2020 levels by 2030. Fertilizer Canada has stated that carbon leakage elsewhere could be the result of this misguided policy.
