Is a Skid Steer in our future? Bobcat Excavator clearing land for wildlife habitat improvement

Join me for some fresh air on January 26, 2020 as I take out the Bobcat e42 mini excavator and start clearing some trees in an area that I hope to have a skid steer with a heavy duty cutter come in and clear those areas to wildlife habitat improvements. Today I am prepping the land by clearing the larger trees that the skid steer and mower can't cut and mulch. Also we'll talk about skid steers. Currently I am comparing a CAT 259d/3 and the Bobcat T76, but they are very expensive! We'll go through the skid steer attachments that really make a skid steer more useful than a tractor these days. The goal of this project is to create deer habitat and wildlife habitat by clearing some spots of the overgrowth trees so that sunlight can hit the forest floor and stimulate growth of natural browse, native food sources and low cover for the animals. This is all part of our overall property management goals to create a multi faceted property to keep and hold deer and other wildlife on our property.
