So now, join me for the next and hopefully the final installment of reworking the deer watering hole with the Bobcat mini excavator, by adding more clay to the dam where I found the seep/leak, and then creating a long water drainage ditch along the base of a hillside so that future rains will channel down into the new watering pond to keep it full and recharged with fresh water. See my strategy unfold as I build the drainage ditch, which follow an existing trail through the thick woods. Stay tuned to see how this works out (or fails...) after a couple of heavy rains! Don't forget to Like and subscribe to follow all of our fun, and often extreme land management projects as we are constantly striving to improve our land for wildlife and outdoor adventures.
