How Much Do We Know about Space? Truly saying we don't know a lot about space, actually we are surrounded with many theories. They may be true or may be not.

We really don't know why was space created and what is it's exact age. We don't know the exact physics “followed” by black holes , we don't know the existance of alien life etc.

Though the question is about how much we know about it :

We have photographed and catalogued more than 30,000 galaxies and about 10,000 galaxy clusters.
We have observed and catalogued up to 40 supernovae.
We currently have a confirmed 3,498 exoplanets to date.
We currently know of 2,712 stars that have exoplanets orbiting them.
We have actually calculated the rate at which this space is expanding .
We know that black holes exist and know some science about it.
We know that space is expanding gaster than speed of light.
We don't know the exact size of universe as it is much bigger than “observable universe”.
