NEOM (TROJENA): THE $500 BILLION SMART CITY IN SAUDI ARABIA

NEOM is a future, linear smart city in Saudi Arabia. Mohammed Bin Salman, Crown Prince and Chairman of the NEOM Board of Directors, announced the project back in 2019 and estimated the project will cost over $500 billion. It will be equipped with smart city technology and tourist attractions. It will cover 26,500 square-kilometers (10,200 square-miles) and stretch for 460 linear kilometres along the Red Sea's coast.
