Video footage captured by a Ukrainian drone in the Donetsk area shows the moment of the downing of a Russian MI-24 Hind helicopter after a direct Ukrainian Igla MANPADS missile hit.

It seems the helicopter was flying so low to avoid even such surface-to-air missiles but had no luck.

First reports stated that the helicopter got hit by Ukrainian soldiers of the 231st Dnepropetrovsk Troop Battalion.
