5/23/2022 Making sweet potato slips This is how to grow sweet potato slips for the 2022 grow season.
It took me 3 months to get to this point. From starting the sweet potatoes in the soil. I used the 1000mL squeeze bottle to water the soil after planting the sweet potatoes in the plastic container. I added a picture at 2 months. The vines began getting larger and in the last 3 days they took off growing. I cut the vines in 6-8 inch slips and placed in cup with water and at least 2 leaves on each slip. The water needs to be changed every 2-3 days. I will update once the slips grow roots, and show where I will be planting the slips out.
