4-20-2022 Worm Wednesday Feeding

Last week I did a pretty big feeding of lettuce, celery, banana, and carrots. I checked in on both bins 4 days after their feedings. The first bin was the 1 lb. red wiggler bin they were all around the feeding area. The worms were attracted to the banana by the time I seen them. No lettuce or celery was around. This feeding released a lot of moisture into the bin. The second bin I looked in on was the worm chow bin. I doubled up on the normal feeding. Typically in 2-3 days the worm chow is gone. This was 4 days and there was some still around but what was left seemed to be dry and harder. I think I will go back to just using the half scoop and checking the bin more frequently. I was surprised to see there were 2 small worm balls in the worm chow bin.
