This is how to make a raised garden bed.
Building raised garden beds out of wood and galvanized roof panels.
First, I measured and cut all the wood and roof panels to size. Each bed consisted of 2-8’ roof panel, 2-4’ roof panel, 4-8’ long boards, 4-4’ long boards, and 10-19” long boards. I started by using the keg jig to put two pocket holes on each side of the 19" long side pieces. The side support pieces were all cut to 19" long and you need 10 total 3 for each long side and 2 for the short sides. Then, I made two sections that were 4 feet long and two sections that were 8 feet long. By taken, 2- 4' pieces and 2- 19" long piece and screwing them together with the 2.5" screws. Next, I put a piece of the galvanized roof panel that I cut in half and attached it with the 1” sharp point roofing screws. Once I made the 2 4' long sides, I did the same thing with the 8' sections. With the 8' section I used 3 of the 19" long side pieces. Attaching the ends first and then finding the exact middle for the final side support. Once these boards were connected I used a 8' section for the long side screwing down with the 1” sharp point screws. After, all of the side were constructed I used the 90 degree clamp to hold a 4' and 8' section together. I used 7- 3" exterior screws to connect the 4' side to the 8' side on each corner.
