Bowled 20 games in 2 hours on 1 lane. had 14 games over 200 with my best 2 games being game #19 & game #20: game #19 was 266, game #20 was 261. my last 3 games was a 730 series. total 20 game pin count was 4,386 / 20 = 219 average. its the best I've done so far.
Used the T-Zone 10lb plastic bowling balls plus a black, blue & Yellow fun Ball spiral plastic 10lb ball with no thumb hole.
I use the finger tip grip with finger inserts with a flat (not the oval) the flat grips & a thumb insert.
My stance is standing behind the front row of dots about the middle of the front & back sets of dots with my front foot on the 35th board & my back foot on the 25th board with my knees bent with my uper body / or torso slightly bent forward.
My ball is at my mid section or my stomach.touching my stomach. as I walk forward I push the bull up to get a higher then my stomach swing I have a 4 step approach with a 6" slide as I release the ball.
I set the ball down or lay the ball down at the center dot at the foul line the big fat dot that's just behind the foul line that is. I'm an inch behind the foul line with my left sliding shoe.
I throw the ball at 16 MPH to 17 MPH. I first concentrate on the big fat middle dot behind the foul line (that is the middle dot & the board the head pin sets on) as I am releasing the ball laying it down on the big fat middle dot I am looking at the middle head pin & aiming the ball at the right side of the head pin as to hit the head pin to the Brooklyn or the right side of the head pin for the Brooklyn Crusher strike.
When its a "Brooklyn Crusher" hit it flushes all pins at the same time. none of this Jason Belmonte or Belmo VARY lucky stuff of having messengers flying all around hoping for a VARY LUCKY hit of his standing pins because of his bad shots.
If all the pins do not go down on my "Brooklyn Crusher" straight line shot it was a Jason Belmonte bad shot for sure! even with my straight line shot I get the long ass messenger shots taking out pins that are still standing just as Jason Melmonte gets BUT I do not get them many times every game as VARY LUCKY man Jason Belmonte does.
BUT WE KNOW ALL hook balls are vary LUCKY balls no matter how the pins go down where as the straight ball is a vary precise & accurate ball & has NOTHING at all to do with lane conditions period! oil does not matter, dryness does not matter because ALL straight balls have ZERO side roll. if you have ANY side roll you are NOT throwing a STRAIGHT BALL right. the DUKE or Norm Duke NEVER throws a straight ball its ALWAYS side rolling off his hand, ALWAYS. I must say though the DUKE does have the most straighter ball of any pro bowler.
The closest to a straight ball ANY pro-bowler has ever thrown is way back in time: I had to look up the first televised 300 games: those first few 300 games will be the closest you will see to a straight ball by a pro-bowler. look up the first 10 televised 300 games to see what I mean then watch the rest of the televised 300 games so you can see for yourself.
Ball manufactures DO NOT want you to think you can throw a straight line to a strike & there are more videos saying to throw a hook over a straight line straight ball. so even they say there is NO straight line pocket strike. watch my I think 34th video where I show for a fact there are MORE then 3 straight lines to a strike per 39 boards of any lane that's over 117 strike zones per bowling lane.
Ball manufactures want you to believe not only can you NOT strike as much as a hook ball that you NEED 15 or so balls to the different lane condition to be good at all. it sells millions of bowling balls of course where as you only need 1 ball & it does NOT need to be more then 2 bowling pin weights (today a normal pin weight is 3.5 lb) 7lbs is all the weight you need (your ball can ONLY hit 2 pins at once at ANY one time) your ball is 8.5" wide, the pins are set at 1 foot apart in all directions. just by the dimensions you can see it would be impossible to hit more then 2 pins at the same time at any time.
What more ball weight does #1. the more ball weight the more it pulls you off balance #2. it tears your hand all to hell after just a few games & #3.increase your LUCK. I guess ball weight does screw your body up worst mainly your back because you are off balance more but its not nice to your fingers, elbow or arm either.
I never fell bowling in my arm, elbow or back only swelling on my fingers after 1000's of games. I bowled 2,467 games from May 13 to Aug 26th 2022. to me 30 games in 2.5 hours EVERYDAY is NOT enough of a work out to even keep me fit. bowling is for the lazy person. its the laziest sport there is.
I mean even in golf you need to walk a lot father then bowling even if you have a golf cart from hole to hole. your not suppose to ride your golf cart on the green & the green is pretty big. its way bigger then the 15' of a bowling approach that's for sure. bowling has 10 frames, Golf has 18 holes so golf is way more exercise & a set of golf clubs probably weight more then twice that of any 16lb bowling ball.
Maybe us bowlers should get a kaddy like some golfers have heheheHA! so we bowlers can become even more lazy heheheHA!
bowlers don't have the wind, sun, heat, cold, snow bugs or weather & we don't need to look for our ball, our ball comes back to your hand. no grass, sand, water, dirt, mud, trees or hills only oil or what the lane is made out of if you hook the ball that is because with a straight ball end over end roll those don't even matter at all!
One last thing: to throw a totally straight ball though: if your right handed you must be to the left of that big FAT center dot & if you are a lefty you must be to the right of that big fat center dot. its because if I as a right handed bowler stand to the right of that big fat center dot the ball will come off my hand rolling on its side a little & that does put a slight hook at the end & you DO NOT WANT hook at all.
I learned that this summer when I was throwing 50 year old urethane balls you can really see it with old urethane balls. I guess as urethane ages it gets softer & is WHY the PBA outlawed ANY urethane ball over 2yrs old.
The ONLY reason I even bought a urethane ball was because its a MUCH tougher plastic & doesn't chip up or crack as easy as plastic does. then I find out why the PBA band all urethane bowling balls that are over 2 years old. that is the first thing I did notice is: the old urethane balls I was using had a dam hook at the end even though I had mostly end over end roll (but still did have slight side roll because I was standing to the right of the big fat center dot & that is why I had to move to way left of the lane so its almost a back up ball but that I do NOT want ether because a back up ball has from a lot to a little side roll accept it rolls the other way then a normal right handed release does.
THIS IS WHY I SAY A RIGHT HANDED BOWLER MUST BE TO THE LEFT OF CENTER DOT to get total end over end NOT on IT's SIDE roll! and of course a left handed bowler to the RIGHT OF CENTER DOT! otherwise at the release your ball will want to come off your hand with a side roll & is really hard NOT too side roll off your hand!
As of this writing there have been 40 900 series made today is 9-13-22
