Pay attention to what your cat likes!

For example, Jericho loves the bathroom. He follows me into the bathroom EVERY TIME I GO IN THERE! Seriously!

So I created games that we can play in the bathroom.

I slide a folded TP roll or wand toy under the door.

He also likes to sit between the shower curtain and liner. So I use a wand toy or TP roll and drag that along the shower curtain.

Then Jericho paws at it and plays with it.

Jericho also loves chasing things across the apartment. So I slide a silvervine stick across the floor toward Jericho's condos.

Then Jericho chases it, runs up his condos, and then jumps to the top of his ladder.

This is an excellent way to burn energy!

Make it a routine and your cat will expect it.

You can also use healthy treats to motivate your cat to play and get active.

Hide treats around your home on top of tall condos to encourage your cat to climb.

You can also toss treats for your cat to chase after.

Foraging mats and puzzle toys provide a lot of mental stimulation too.

Mental stimulation and enrichment throughout the day will help your cat feel satisfied and accomplished.

This can help your cat sleep better!
