The #NotMyKing suggests the royal family need to change

Today #NotMyKing is on twitter and presumably other social media.

Many are talking about the story from yesterday that I noticed. Where Charles waves for someone to remove a pen and ink. I stated this looked bad and I would have told him to sod off.

Why have so many not understood so many?

You see, we live in an age where you cannot expect the public to treat the royal family as they did in 1950’s. The you must do this and that when you meet the King or indeed Queen is long gone.

One can hardly expect people who are not even from the UK to use the correct official names these days.

CNN snubs the Wales’! Reporter is blasted for using Meghan and Harry’s names then referring to William and Kate as ‘the other two royals’ during report about Windsor truce walkabout in wake of Queen’s death

If the royal family want to be around for years to come, they are going to have to (in my opinion) be different from now on.

If Charles starts to seem unpopular, it is probable politicians (especially those on the left) will be very public in getting rid of the royals, as well as using it to get votes.

One suspects most who want the royals gone have stayed silent, knowing people loved the Queen. However in 12 months or so, people may feel it is the time to start campaigns to get rid of the royals.
