Bird Feeding: It's Not as Difficult as You Think

Did you know that birds are mainly limited to eating seed-bearing fruits and vegetables, while they will also eat some grains if they're found and can fit them in their beak? But as we all know, birds never stop learning, and they're adapting to their environments with some of the most interesting feeding habits. For example, some birds will eat the leaves of conifer trees. And if you eat something and a bird eats it too, do you get extra credit?
In this tutorial, I'll show you how to make a bird feeder out of an empty soda can. The surface area of the can makes it ideal for holding a variety of seeds and suet, and the open top allows birds to feed at will. This is a cheap and easy project, which will give you great satisfaction as you watch your feathered friends enjoying their meal from your window. Materials:
-Empty soda can (find one at a restaurant or convenience store)
-Superglue-Screwdriver
-Seeds, Suet, optional water, optional twine for hanging
This is a recipe for bird feed cake, which is fairly easy to make, and will provide your feathered friends with a tasty snack.
