AOC:
We’re all familiar with the big names in politics… but do they get things done? Are the loudest members of congress the most effective? Or are they more hot air in the game? To find out the answer to these questions, we’re going to look at the records of the most recognizable Representative and Senators from both sides of the aisle. First up - AOC.
- Missed .6% of votes - putting her at #351 o all of Congress for absenteeism.
- She doesn’t serve on any committees.
- She only introduced only 23 bills - ranking #187 out of all of Congress.
- Of those 23 bills, 0 bills were enacted, and 0 made it out of committee.
- Of those bills, she managed to get a total of 245 cosponsors -that makes her rank at #236 out of all of Congress.
- She con-sponsored more the double that amount (528 bills). But that still only ranks her as #115 out of all of Congress for the number of bills co-sponsored.
- In terms of leadership, she ranks #229 (.48).
- Her ideology score makes her one of the top 10 most liberal members of Congress (#429.)
