At least one killed in 60-vehicle Oregon pileup during heavy fog conditions

At least one person was killed in a massive pileup in Linn County, Oregon, on Wednesday, October 19th, as dense fog shrouded a highway. Dashcam footage captured by Chuck Campbell shows the scene of the crash on I-5 near Halsey. According to Oregon State Police, 15 to 20 commercial vehicles and 45 passenger vehicles were involved. The Oregon Department of Transportation said multiple crashes occurred during heavy fog. A dense fog advisory was in place for parts of Oregon and Washington on Thursday, a day after the accident occured.
